I do think Flyers need an exemplary salary cap team…That is really what sets Howie Roseman apart from other general managers and don’t think that is Brierre’s forte.

One thing I didn’t like regarding Brierre’s press conference….was him mentioning how many compliments other teams gave him on his drafting and such…Likely not a big deal…but it struck me as insecurity.

Regarding the competition, the Devils should be better but the Caps & Isles should be worse and the Pens will probably be worse as well as they near the end…but I expect the Flyers to be worse and with how they are setup for next year’s draft that is ideal…

Coots and goaltending. Those are the key questions for next season. If both hit, we’re playoff contenders. If one doesn’t, it’s another story

Exactly this has always been a 5 year process, because once michkov came over in 26-27 most fans would say it be a year or 2 before competing, now with him coming now it speeds that timeline up maybe a year or 2 but lets just relax and let this process play out, everyone was okay with the sixers process and this team is LIGHT YEARS AHEAD of the Sixers when they were in year 1 of their process.

Skipping development camp is a huge red flag. It’s his opportunity to show off his talent but continues to make excuses and blame other people. Does he want to compete or no?

Are you talking about michkov missing? Because there is no way you could be, would be the most insane comment ever! And if you are well there are things called Visas, which he needs. Also there are major issues between russia and USA, it is not as easy as just swimming over from Russia to Alaska and he is in the country, smh.
