The upper back and chest can get constricted from sitting at a desk, driving, and looking at phones. It can also get tight from emotional protection or distress like grief or depression.
This practice will open this area of the body to bring energy, freedom of movement and vitality to the torso, which can shift stuck patterns and bring a sense of lightness into the system.
