Thank you all for the great comments and to Socks with Sandals.:) I have been rigorously testing this pump day and night and run about 100 liters of diesel through it with no issues. It is adjustable and will there fore run the 2Kw and 5Kw chinese diesel heaters. Carbon monoxide levels track the same as the std pump if not better with fine tuning. It will run in any orientation. I have tested it with the diesel tank 2ft higher than the pump and burner with no issue and with the pump drawing from the diesel tank 2ft below the burner with no issue. It has four wires that need connecting. Red and Black wires (Positive and Negative) to the same power supply as the Diesel Heater and two green wires that connect to the pump plug wires. I should add that this pump will not wear faster pumping a non lubricated fuel like Kerosene, unlike the std pump. I'm in the process of sourcing parts to build a first batch. The estimated price is £99 including first class tracked postage to UK, outside UK contact me for a price. If any one is interested please email me and I will add you to my build list and keep you updated on progress. I should have a first batch ready to go out by the end of April. I did it very simple to ours. Use a car radiator hose. I am into the automotive sector. So i could get one what perfectly fits around the pump. Only the connector part could not fit. Put at the other site whats is free another thick rubber hose into the bigger one so that a lot of the pump is covered with rubber. Big difference according old situation. You can hear it ofcourse but a huge difference than before and at a very comfy level. Think simpel…..

@@SocksWithSandals water in the combustion process helps clean up the combustion as the water is superheated it is flashed into steam giving the same effect as in a steam engine.. Expanding taking up more space.. When ones head gasket is blown the surrounding area coolant escapes usually is extremely clean.. Given the correct amount of water fuel efficiency is increased... Intake temperatures cooled and therefore increased bhp.. The method was used on ww2 fighter jets it works incredibly well on turbo engines where temperatures can really be reduced and boost increased, also used as methanol injection for even bigger increases in power. Think how the car feels on a cool damp morning... Obviously to much water and your hydrolocking the engine its a fine balance.

Don't know what's inside the "blackbox". But I think it's possible to build a silent pump with a silicone tube like in a medical blood pump. The only thing you have to change is the motor. You don't want continous flow, so take a stepper motor instead. The driver must convert the signal in more or less steps per minute for the stepper motor. That's it. I have no need for a silent pump because i have no camper. Otherwise i build one. What I did build is a much quieter exhaust silencer out of stainless steel and glasswool. Next project is a better silencer for the combustion air intake. Also I have build a silencer for the cold air intake out of mdf and acoustic foam and pvc drain pipe.
@SocksWithSandals3 жыл бұрын
Good luck getting a production line of them going.

@@SocksWithSandals of the imaginary pump or the silencer? It was not my intention to sell them. I heat my garage with two heaters when i do woodwork and the heaters were to noisy for me. So i bought a tig welder, learned a little welding by doing and build a muffler out of 70mm inox pipe (25cm long) with a 25mm perforated pipe in the center and inox end-caps. Learned a lot about inox and expensive tools. And now my heaters are really quiet. No sound like a dragon anymore. Just a silent whispering.

It's a dosing pump, often used in labs for dosing chemicals. It squeaks a piece of plastic tubing in a "circular" motion forcing the liquid through. Quantity is determined by the ID of the tube combined with the rate of/rpm of motor squeaking the tube. It is a really quite pump/dosing solution and since these heaters don't require the fuel to be fed to the burner at any pressure this is an ideal solution if you want it silent. If it isn't a dosing pump, then a dosing pump is never the less a superb solution to the problem :D

Yeah silent pump to microdose hallucinogens - for sale! The trials with Jack Dorsey were successful.
@dutchcoastcustoms2 жыл бұрын
great job, but why? there are silent heater pumps on the market.

Buy the competition
@ribbitism2 жыл бұрын
those advertised as silent heater pumps, are not silent. every video of someone trying one on youtube shows you that they make noise.
@dutchcoastcustoms2 жыл бұрын
@@ribbitism that's a lie. they only make noise if you know everything better and don't stick to the guidelines. If the pump is properly primed, it doesn't make any noise

Very nice but it cost more than the heater so it's a no for me!
