By the way, my favourite is 1.4/23. But obviously this is a matter of opinion and individuality. This is me, someone else sees it differently.

These lenses produce a nostalgic look, reminds me of when I was a kid and mom had a cheap film camera and I would snap away with it. Love it!!! Great video.

I have the 50mm f1.2 and yes that separation is amazing. I don’t use it often but (due to the bargain price) I’m completely happy to have it as an occasional artsy lens.

I own all the lenses mentioned here and I have to say, the coma and blooming of these lenses makes them hard to use or atleast only in rare conditions if you want to use them wide open. the ttartisan 25mm f2 on the other hand is very sharp, little coma and blooming even wide open. It's a much, much better lens compared to the other ones.

Just received my set from China in less than a week! They are amazing and feel fantastic quality pieces of work - how long they will last who knows but when the double sided tape on a Lumix 12-32 zoom ring can give out and it comes off on your hand these feel like you could break rocks with them - Thanks for the recommendation!

So I bought the set and I LOVE it!! Like you, I enjoy the 50mm best, especially for street photography. This focal length works well in MFT.

My advice, test thoroughly and send back if necessary. My 17mm copy did not focus to infinity and was too tight on my Pany G9 and G100. Aperture ring is also quite tight. Further, lens is too heavy for most bodies, but works well on the G9. Therefore, buyer beware of sample variations and issues mentioned. I also have an autofocus Sigma 19mm f2.8 from way back when and it is sharper at every aperture, FYI...

Just received my copy today. It's also fairly tight to mount.

I really wish TTArtisan would make a micro4/3 set of lenses based on their 35mm f/1.4 Leica M lens. Love the looks and design of that one in silver. 14mm, 18mm, and 25mm, all f1.4🙏🏻 please!🙂 Love seeing you out shooting with the GH6 Emily!

Hi. Txs for your review. By the way, I have a question. I am a beginner. I just bought a Sony nex F3, with a native 18/55 mm Sony lens. I am ok with it. It is quite versatile and good enough to start and discover my camera. BUT, it is to Big! I want something to make my camera pocketable, and keep my 18/55 in my backpack. And I do not want a lens that will not be the same use as my 18/55. And m'y budget is quite low.... So, I am thinking to buy 25mm 7artisan or TTartisan Lens. But will it be so different than my 18/55? I Think also at the 18mm 7 artisan Lens. VERY small. But muche less versatile. But maybe enough for street considering I have my 18/55mm. Considering the lens I alreday have, and the fact I want my camera light and pocketable, what would you advise me, 18mm or 25mm? Thank you very much. Raphaël

Given how magnificent their 50mm is for Leica M (its an absolute wonder) is it possible that some of the engineering of that lens ended up in this version? Because the colour and bokeh look VERY similar.

Your photos of Amsterdam feel very different. Not like I see it as a (former) native, rushing through quickly to get somewhere, not like a tourist. Very nice to see. I have the 50mm. It's kind of a "surprise lens" if you ask me. Some shots are one big flare or chromatic abberation, some shots are perfect. Overall character is very nice though, especially in black and white.

a surprise lens is a perfect description for that 50mm!

Argh, don't tempt me! They have really cool shapes and are generally old school in many ways, good and not so good.. but that also has its charm. TT Artisans have come a long way from their initial offerings.

@@MicroFourNerds We do indeed get amazing sunsets. On a completely random tangent, I am loving filming with my GH6. I spent Saturday riding and filming on steam trains with just my camera. Even though I was bumped around on a moving train I was gobsmacked at how stable the footage was. I have a feeling my gimbal is going to get a lot of cobwebs at this rate.

Why prices in dollars when you are Manx based? I don’t understand why Red35 does it either. I have the 7artisans 35 f1.2 which is even smaller that the TTArtisans 35 f1.4 and rarely bump the video friendly aperture ring. I wish the 17mm f1.4 was as lightweight as these 2 lenses.
