@@marvelousmarvin956 Im sorry your network cant handle cloud. It might not be your internet provider, it could be your router, or cross traffic and interference on your network. Anecdotally I'm running Black Myth Wukong, Diablo 4, Doom, etc. at 4k 60 fps on GeForce Now over WiFi 5, without any artifacts, lag, or drops. Also if you're on cable internet advertised speed is almost never what you're getting. A handheld PC / Steamdeck is still better bang for your buck than a home console.

im in USA and it works flawlessly with my Verizon FIOS 2 gig speed paired with the latest firestick 4k max (the 1 with extra memory and WiFi 6 capable). I do play on my Series X more often but its downstairs in my studio/man cave ... the firestick setup comes in the clutch when my year old daughter is home from daycare & i need to be upstairs for her.

Stick drift on Xbox controllers is the same as it is. Anywhere else. However, there is a left and right bumper issue that can happen.That you seem to have faced. And the bumper buttons can be solved yourself if you are a mechanically, inclined individual. They've just popped the controller apart and hit the button with a little silicon spray.Good as new.

Dawg cloud gaming is great, but i had to connect my Xbox series X and ps5 to ethernet cords to get the "best" possible experience. I also pay the highest tier of internet allowed in my state, which gets me 1 gig speeds on wired, all this and I STILL rarely ever use it because its just easier to install and play the games in the best possible settings available. no 1080p, no random jitters, but it HAS drastically improved input latency, so MASSIVE props to microsoft and xbox for that

seems cool to me. I've been out of the gamer game for a bit now, been trying to figure out what console to get and kinda want to see the new Switch 2 before making a choice. I personally have never had an issue with stick drift but my wife gas goe thru so many controllers because of it. I just got my first controller with paddles and its been quite a learning experience. I got the PDP Victrix BFG and its it sooooo smooth. I love it.

Square Enix made a statement, that they want to bring all of their recent games (which includes FF 7 Remake and Rebirth), to the XBOX Series X / S. I believe it when i see it. Square Enix has to do a lot of redemption, to the XBOX community when it comes to their game library. FF 7 Remake and Rebirth would be a good start.

I use gamepass cloud multiple times a day on my smart tv and android phone, furthermore when I bring my dog to the dog park at night, I bring my phone and xbox controller with me, 0 issues. Last year it wasn't this good. It's been pretty stable for some time now.

Stick drift and trigger issues don't happen on hall effect controllers. They just refuse to release a controller that has those features. Cloud gaming is not ready for most people without fiber. Microsoft has been warning about getting rid of the console for over 10 years now.

the fire stick gamepass is for casual gamers that are the same ones that would play games on the switch or the wii, yes you can play online multiplayer but you can also drag race a mini van; why would you? your not gonna play anything that requires concern of response time on the fire stick, for that reason there will always be a need for a console. I got the firestick just to try gamepass, it works.... but it also shows me why i have a console, its more of a companion to the xbox instead of a replacement.

Consoles are always a loss for whoever makes them and sells them. When I worked at Circuit City a short time in 2001 they sold us products usually close to cost plus a percent. Xbox does not make any money from selling consoles. In fact, they sell consoles at a loss and makeup for that loss when people buy games and accessories. Most console manufacturers follow this same strategy.

I'm not so sure many have the infrastructure to facilitate such. I'm in the UK, very patchy connectivity with a router. Oddly, my mobile phone gives faster connection on 4g! Full fibre connection has trunking in street but no cable. I had a series X sold it, along with PS5. Had a break and got an S. It seems as good as X only thankfully much smaller than the big black box. Probably cheaper to run too for power consumption. Oddly, not struck with PS5, like Forza 5 and 4 which they are getting rid of it seems. Love it as 4 driving is on UK side of road😊

I’m actually planning to trade in my Series X towards a PS5 Pro, seeing as the new white Series X is digital only and the Galaxy Edition with disc drive is only available from Microsoft’s online store, both signs that Xbox is going digital only! I’ve been an Xbox fan since the original Xbox, I still love both it and the 360 to this day, but if Xbox go digital only, I can no longer buy new Xbox products! I’m still going to get more games and peripherals for my OG Xbox and 360, and I MIGHT get a DuchesS controller for my gaming PC next summer (although I might get a Retro Fighters Mantis controller for that instead!) but I didn’t even want an Xbox One in the first place with its mandatory installs and shit! I ONLY got an Xbox One in 2016 after 3 years of resisting because my Mom INSISTED I get one after my Jasper 360 RRODed, ignorant that even with the added backwards compatibility the year before, it’s STILL not a 100% Xbox 360 replacement! I am sick of my Mom using the “It’s old technology” line on me whenever one of my retro gadgets goes wrong! I know they often are fixable, she just often doesn’t get it! I got stick drift and sent it back to Microsoft and got it repaired/replaced under warrantee. A month later, my warrantee has expired and the replacement controller has stick drift. Resorted to using my Xbox One controller which has a delay in input. Cloud Gaming has never worked well besides when I lived in a city, easier to download games.

If you’re gonna play the game, download it and play it if you’re gonna try the game out see if you like it you might as well stream it for a second play it see if you would like it before you download it. That’s what I usually do, but honestly, if you’re gonna keep playing the game, download it, it runs a lot better works a lot better and streaming is not there yet. I wish it was. I have a 2 TB connection and it’s still not the best yet so download the games so if you really worry about these little devices and everything, I wouldn’t worry about them they’re just allowing more people to play video games that’s it. It’s not a big deal you bought Xbox for a reason so you can download the games play them and everything else that way, these devices only allow you to stream games
