@@akanfoyawu1072 Hi! Can you be more specific? You should be able to use them together in the same prompt. Just make sure there is a space between them. For example: /imagine your text prompt --ar 9:16 --sref imgURLhere

Thank you so much Fern 🙏🏾 i love the v6 sref , but from discovering your style tuner guide for v5.2 I kinda prefer v5.2’s browser environment, because it’s a visual palette to make combinations that can include image references as well… but I’ll definitely be mixing between v.5.2 & v6 . Once again thank you making MJ’s under the hood stuff clear and practical.
@woollyferncreative8 ай бұрын
The v5 Style Tuner is a lot of fun! Some people still prefer it over the v6 approach. I've had great luck taking images I created with v5 Style Codes and then using them as Style References in v6. Works like a charm!

@@woollyferncreative yes I love layering layers … MJs methods resampling and “ ai art “ is like Digital Impressionism. Maybe the developers will make graphic stem separation , just like Music has audio separation, where you reshuffle and re-blend elements in an image , relative to you separation focus , e.g. separation by primary focus object and tiers of depth of field… or separation, by hot and cold colours, object groups: people , inanimate objects, buildings, natural landscape vs industrial etc. ps I also like putting blurred images as image references and sref , it’s like gives the processing and unknown noise type (blurs) to be more creative with. Cheers 👾

I like your videos! Is there a way to stylize a photo using --sref. For example: --sref
@woollyferncreative10 ай бұрын
Thanks! You can definitely use an Image Reference and a Style Reference in the same prompt, similar to how you've written,. But for it to run, you will either need to include an additional image reference or a text prompt. For example my text prompt --sref . However, you will not get back a copy of the Image Reference that has been stylized. The Image Reference is just a reference that Midjourney uses to influence the results. Hope that makes sense.

Hi there. How can you do the same prompt with Sref of your saved image in MJ itself without Discord?
@woollyferncreative3 ай бұрын
Hi, you can use SREF in your prompts on Midjourney's website. Is this what you mean? Or are you asking if you can use a Midjourney-created image as an SREF? If so, yes. To get the URL of your Midjourney-created image, open the image on Midjourney's website, click the 3 lines in the upper right, then click Copy, then Image URL.

Is there a way to save multiple image as reference in the / prefer setting options? instead of just one? instead of always copying all links use as reference every time?
@woollyferncreative3 ай бұрын
Yep! You can save anything you want as a shortcut on Discord including multiple images references to the same shortcut. Create your shortcut and paste in the image URLs. Separate each URL with a space. Here's a video on creating shortcuts kzbin.info/www/bejne/imW0iqWCgalqidE

@@woollyferncreative Amazing it worked out for me now, i just needed to make sure the weblinks were shortcuts like you mention! I also noticed alot of sref are in numbers, how can i create them into numbers instead of words so I can share? do you have a tutorial as well?
@woollyferncreative3 ай бұрын
There isn't a way to create your own SREF number. All SREF code numbers refer to a specific visual style determined by the Midjourney style space. I have several videos where I share SREF codes along with tips for using them. Here's a video on how to discover SREF codes:kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJXSpmZmfrKgh6M. The September Monthly Prompt collection on my Patreon covers (more in-depth) the process I go through to discover my favorite SREF codes.

What if I want to mimick the pose of the image? Same thing (sref)?
@woollyferncreative5 ай бұрын
SREF will only look at visual aesthetics. You might try using your image as an image prompt where the image URL goes before the text in your prompt. Check out this video on image prompting: kzbin.info/www/bejne/garVXqGNqdVksJo. I also show a brief example of using an image for posing when used with the Character Reference parameter in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIDKon6Bh7lqf6c

Can you use the method in Midjourney web. results don't come. Error message appears. what to do ?
@woollyferncreative7 ай бұрын
Yes, you can use --sref on the website. Make sure there is a space after your prompt text, then add --sref, another space, and paste your image URL. Like this /imagine text prompt here --sref imageURL.jpg I'm considering making an updated sref deep dive that covers some relevant updates like web usage and the new SREF random. Keep an eye out 🙂.

how do i set a custom aspect ratio and style?
@woollyferncreative7 ай бұрын
To set custom aspect ratio, you can include the --ar parameter in your prompt. Like this: /imagine cute cat --ar 9:16 To use a custom style reference (shown in video), use the --sref parameter followed by a URL to your image that you want to use. You can also make use of a large pool of existing SREF styles. Check out this video for more info: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHbckoWge56cna8si=g2E08gk5SFcigILQ And, if you want to create custom shortcuts for aspect ratios or styles that you use frequently, check out this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/imW0iqWCgalqidEsi=PEiZNazeBmbiVHUp Hope that answers your question.

Great video! Thank you for the advice. Just curious though since I'm new to the AI art space, is there any other generator comparable to Midjourney? I'm interested in trying different generators but don't know what would be worth paying for or what other free tools there are that others would recommend :)
@woollyferncreative10 ай бұрын
Thanks! I'm biased, but Midjourney is my favorite 🙂. I think they offer the best visual aesthetics and subscription plans with the most value for your money. The two main other AI image generators are DALL-E and Stable Diffusion. There are A LOT of Stable Diffusion variants out there because it's open source.
