Given the pink and purple theme of your ork army, I'm just imagining a bunch or of them coming along after a battle, finding the smashed remains of the hammerhead, and using it for scrap because it's already painted the right color, lol!

@@mattcurr9931 Yes his colleagues pressured him into changing the name. Just a tip on the Airbrush... put the Thinner and Flow Aid in the cup before adding the paint into the cup. This will help to far greater reduce the chances of any paint adhering to the needle and interior of the airbrush, hence reducing the frequency which you'll need to do a full breakdown cleaning of the airbrush.

The closest thing to magenta in acrylic pigments is usually a transparent red. You just have to glaze with it. That's 100% correct what you are doing. Using an acrylic labeled magenta is usually desaturated and just won't get you the vibrancy one usually expects from a proper magenta. Back in the 80s-90s, red ink was the go to to get that hot pink magenta color.

Great video! More of an advanced thing, but using backflow to mix your paint aerosolizes it and can make your spraying very inconsistent. Just putting this out there for any novice airbrushers. I'm speaking as someone who has little to no experience painting, much less playing the tabletop. But personally I'm not sure I'd want a pink tau hover tank as the base of the model. Reason being that if I were to play with the model I'd do so against a variety of factions and colour schemes, and a hot pink tank makes it really hard for the base to blend into the the background of those battles. It draws so much attention to itself.
@102ndsmirnov72 жыл бұрын
