To correct Ryan Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was on for 3 seasons. Season 4 was Power Ranger Zeo then Season 5 was Power Rangers Turbo then Season 6 was Power Rangers in Space.

The "Hadoken" motion was basically all the moves for every character. Down, forward button 1/button 2. Then there was every characters SPECIAL attack which was same motion but both buttons at the same time. Plus using both buttons while standing still, crouching, or jumping. This game was genius and simplistic. BEST Mighty Morhpin game of the 90's hands down!

What's funny is no other fighting game does this. Each character in other fighting games have their own moves but no other fighting game but this one has a universal special attack command list, which helps you transition seamlessly from learing one character to learning another. I don't know why either. If they did it this way, it would make things a lot simpler

I'm surprised you guys didn't at least glance at a move list for this. The input is the same for all characters: down, forward +1; down, forward + 2, and down, forward + 1+2. The moves are really diverse and they elevate this game to being kinda great! Loved it when I was a kid. MMPR: The Movie is the same as this except with different characters.

Power Rangers got banned in Sweden because a group of kids murdered another kid while playing Power Rangers. Pretty fucked up, but it's also wrong to blame it on the TV-show. Edit: Apparently it got banned in all of Scandinavia and the incident happened in Norway.

They skipped two seasons, actually. ToQger is the one based on trains, while Go-Busters was an attempt to appeal to American audiences, even including references to Power Rangers. Also, Turbo was before In Space. As for the best Power Rangers series, most fans usually think In Space, Time Force, or RPM are the best seasons.

Quick history on the Power rangers. In Japan it was called Super Sentai. It started in the early 70's. Each season was called something different. Saban Entertainment picked up the rights to reproduce it in America. Saban Started it with the 16th season of Super Sentai and called it the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. There are a lot of differences and references between Super Sentai 16th season called Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger and the Power Rangers. To answer the question does Voltron have anything to do Super Sentai, no they don't. Two completely different companies made each series. By the way, the original Voltron was called Beast King GoLion.

Vr Troopers is adapted from Shaider, Metalder and Spielban. Beetleborgs are adapted from B-fighter and B-fighter Kabuto. All of these are from the Metal Hero Franchise which was already popular pretty much everywhere but english countries before Power Rangers.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers went from the original, to Zeo, to Turbo, then Space. After that starting with Lost Galaxy, it was all new characters & only lasted 1 Season. Other than like Tommy coming back in Dino Thunder & all of the episodes where the previous season's Rangers would make a cameo in the next 1 or anything like that.

Shell Shock has two projectiles- that cannon and the stop blast, both on different arcs. Kinda like how Dragonzord's projectile attack fires three times, one down close by your feet and then further and further away each time. Extremely committal attack though!

Wow. What a trip seeing this game again. I was not allowed to have a console as a kid but I did have a game gear and game boy. Most of the games you play I only got to experience later as an adult. For once this is a game I remember playing as a kid. I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. It made the video feel really special to me. The Vs mode is what makes it so fun. You get to play as the boss characters. Hope you tried it. I'll also second the motion of more Game Gear games. Shining Force Sword of Hajya is a great one. There's even a Zelda reference in it. lol.

The guy who designed the suits for Zyuranger (MMPR) and mechs for the show was a student of the guy who designed the original GoLion/Voltron. The legs are a design homage to one of his teacher's best known creations.

There were originally 190 Pokémon developed for gen 1 but the other 48 were programmed for gen 2 instead. The Zordon era was MMPR, Zeo, Turbo then In Space. Tommy's White Ranger costume was the only costume used from the Super Sentai series the ThunderZords came from which was DaiRanger

Power rangers SPACE This was meant to be the End of the Power Rangers series after Zordon get's destroyed by Red Ranger to save everyone, and with Zordon's magical powers upon death. It was meant to destroy all evil in the universe. But it didn't get a good review of the series in the end so they decided to continued.. Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue and so on..

I am guessing this was already planned before I mentioned reviewing this in the MMPR videos from Mr Rolfe. Cool you did it. The movie game on GG is almost the same thing again. The show was on Fox in Philly from the beginning (1993) till at least 1998 ('In Space' - the 6th season). It ran 5 days a week: Mon to Thu 17:00 ET, then switched to 16:30 & eventually 16:00 ET then Saturday morning at I think 09:00. Friday afternoons Goosebumps came on in the 16:30 ET timeslot.

Dudes! I spent so much of my childhood playing this game and the movie one. Until my Game Gear broke, at least. It was great how special moves worked too. They all used the Hadouken motion (down, forward) and then punch, kick or both. The Movie one also had super combos of sorts, which you did by doing the Hadouken motion twice before pushing the buttons when the lightning bolt thing near the health bar is flashing.

There is a thing going around where you can change a game gear ROM into a Master system ROM so that it can be played on a ever drive. That's how I play my game gear on TV. Not every game is that way so some of my games are only on a Game Gear but I may get a retropie because I don't want my old consoles and handhelds to break.
