Excellent starter list - UFO, Scorpions, Budgie, Grand Funk, Uriah Heep, Jethro Tull, Mountain, Iron Butterfly which is where Captain Beyond came from, Deep Purple and and dozens more of Obscure bands, Sir Lord Baltimore, Sweet (Not so obscure but top notch). Lucifers Friend also German other than the vocalist, John Lawton. CCR I could go on all night.

I think those are both Guild. The single cut could be and M-75 Bluesbird style, the double cut seems to be and M-80 but I could be wrong

the guitar sound is outdated, even for 1977. The reason is the Hiwatt amps which would require some extra boost. I had one around 50 years ago and was not happy with it.

This is probably the most sterile and separated "live" sound I´ve ever heard, horrible. That first little guitar lead line says it all, soundwise.

Then you must love guitarists like Yngwie malmsteen who's all ego and speed who just touches the notes without putting any feeling into it (putting emphasis on the notes). Yngwie sounds like a old broken down computer when he play's guitar. He must be a psychopath with no emotion.🤯
