I went to a CBAT (essentially an inpatient psych program usually run in a house, where the patients stay there) as a teen, and one of the other kids I was with there was a teen boy furry who was constantly drawing and showing us very buff, shirtless animal-human hybrids. He was a sweet dude, but it was an interesting environment to be sequestered in no less… I hope he’s doing good now.

It's focused on anthropomorphic animal characters, think Zootopia or The Bad Guys. Furries will create original characters, make art and costumes, and sometimes gather at conventions, which can have thousands of attendees.
