I really like Jake Zweig's feedback. When it comes to toxic romantic/domestic relationships, I'm telling you, it's like dealing with uranium or radium: even if you only keep your foot in the door, you're going to get poisoned. Once things take a turn, you have to cut it off and walk away. It sucks, and I wish it could be a different way, but it IS this way you HAVE to walk away.

The truth is somewhere in the middle. As 20yr police officer and 15yr detective. Charges get dropped for several reasons. 1. False allegations 2. It actually happened but the "victim" refuses to cooperate after she no longer angry at him. 3. "Victim's" and perpetrator's lawyers came to an agreement (money, uncontested divorce...ect). Especially if the perpetrator is a high profile person. 4. "Victim" recants in order to work it out to keep the family together.

I'd add the in many US courts, not just family or DV cases; 🗃 a court case will plea out or be dismissed 94% of the time. I think Navy SEAL Rob Oneil's hotel-bar case was dismissed too, No conviction. I had a 2023 felony case as a armed security contract: DHS. The suspect beat me with a stick, camera pole. He took a plea: supervised probation. 4.5mo. The ASA ⚖️ assigned was awful. DAs & prosecutors only care about the office! The budgets, records. Not victims!

I lived this with both ex-wives. First one was a aggressive narcissist who felt she could slap and punch me. During the divorce she turned the tables and claimed I was violent one and tried to have DV charges leveled against me! She wanted to strip me of our children. I hired an attorney. During the hearing it was brought out she was lieing and she was the abuser. Cost me 20k to clear my name. 2nd ex (the sequel) turned out to be a drunk after 8 years of marriage. I could deal with the drinking however her personality would change dramatically and she would get aggressive until one night she crossed the line and used my face as a punching bag. I was going to call the police. I live in a small town and wanted to avoid the embarrassment, so I didn't call. 2 months later we filed for divorce. Never again... Stay single

I agree with the get out, especially if there were things said that were not true or purposely exaggerated. I know the system is broken. I had a wife who smacked me in the face at about 11:00 pm on Saturday night. I was packing a work van with my stuff with my little brother Sunday morning and never looked back! If what she said did happen with Mike? Get some help brother and thank your lucky stars. You got a free one now make sure it never happens again! ☝🏽 if there are children involved take both of you to counseling! You made these children and you owe them however much work it takes. Leaving is not the right answer if enough work and effort can have a better outcome for the kids!

Been where Mike is at...I wasn't so lucky. Separated from my wife because I wanted a divorce. 6 months later after she wouldn't let me see my son, I went to speak to an attorney. She ended up filing first because I told her I spoke to an attorney. My mistake as she filed for absolute divorce claiming adultery and abuse. That's not when she filed for protection order. 2 months later, still had not seen my son, I decided to stop by to say hi and drop off new clothes and shoes for him. She didn't even answer the door, her mother did. Police were immediately called and they lied to police saying there was court order stating I could not be there. 3 hours after I left is when she went and filed for protection order. Found "guilty" and was forced to pay to see my son. Then, a year later, she filed for continuation of protection order saying I spoke to her on our court ordered video chats. Same judge who issued the original protection order which authorized the video chats, literally said I was lying and granted the continuation for 6 months. 6 months later as I continue my court ordered visitation and protection order is about to expire, she then files criminal charges saying I violated them by asking for more time with our son outside of the court ordered visitation center. This was not true as I asked the visitation center to schedule more time. Visitation center coordinator even testified that I never spoke to her. Still found guilty and was order 90 jail, luckily suspended, and 1yr probation. I of course appealed but still had to serve my sentence. 6 months later, half sentence served, my only way out was probation before judgement to get the conviction off my record. Was agreed to serve rest of probation unsupervised. Well the interstate compact said otherwise and forced me to serve the remaining time supervised. There was never any proof of the allegations of abuse other than she said it happened. I am a veteran of 10 years with 2 tours to Afghanistan...needless to say, I am no longer the same man I was nor do I hold the same beliefs. Changed my life forever and would not wish this pain upon anyone. However, people do not understand how easily the system can be manipulated. I was the one to walk away, opposite of the majority of abusers, still did not matter. You want to know something funny? Knowing the corrupt "justice" system, I looked everywhere for help. Govorners and various state appointed officials. You know what I was told? Sorry there is nothing we can do. Separation of powers law. 🤣...yet the commander in chief is in control of the military. Govorners control their states. Commander in chief appoints federal judges. Governors appoint state judges. I learned during my 10 years of service that uncle Sam will always protect himself and this was no different.

I took a class with Mike last summer in Colorado. Super great guy. Once I heard about what happened to him I shook my head. Some attorney should have gotten in his corner and told him to be quiet. The sad part he may escape serious criminal consequences, but she will use this as a basis to start a family law case against him. Ultimately she may not be successful, but he will spend a fortune getting the custody he deserves. No matter how much you train with the local police. They are not your friends. They get paid to charge people and not find out the facts.

There is a lot of drama in the online SF personality world. I think the best thing you can do is get off the social media, stop trying to be a public personality. Move on.

The point is shut your mouth and don’t even speak his name. It’s none of our business. All I see from Green Beret Chronicles is profit from a bad, sensitive, compartmental situation involving our brother. Keep Mike Glovers name out of your mouth and let him be the one to post.

The f***** up part is Glover has still yet to come out with any accountability whatsoever. I swear he's playing the total victim role. Anybody that understand what's really going on knows that's a crock of s***. Yeah I get it the b**** is probably crazy but he knows he's not totally innocent in this. That being said, we haven't heard one sliver of accountability from Glover.

What do you mean "why should we just believe women?". Why should we just believe HIM? Wouldn't he have more reason to lie? Many a woman were not believed and were later killed by the man. A case like this happened a year ago and the woman and her military husband were separated, a military reaction channel covered it. The wife was posting ridiculous videos with her rapping and being very obnoxious. Guess what, the husband lured her to see him and killed her on a hwy in Hawaii then did some self harm to try and get out of it. If there are no witnesses, it's hard to know who to believe. Maybe in this case there wasn't physical evidence, maybe the wife didn't want her kids dad in jail long-term, maybe he threatened her or paid her to drop the charges and refuse to testify. Either way, it's time to get out, whether he did it (& therefore is a dangerous man who can't be trusted not to do it again) or if she lied then she can't be trusted not to do it again.

So does that mean we must believe all women? Let me clarify because you seem confused: There is an agenda around a notion that a woman should simply be believed and action taken and this has resulted in an extreme abuse of the law in many cases. Did you see anyone say that anyone should simply believe "HIM"? (Try and use less caps, it makes you look unhinged). No you didn't, and nor did anyone say that. The evidence has come out that the police took her word and despite vidence to the contrary threw the guy in prison. Now I'm not sure who you are but you seem to not fully grasp the situation and appear to be creating a narrative all of your own that you are spewing out. Let me repeat, people are saying that this agenda that "all women must be simply believed is wrong" that does not imply that "all men should be believed" that speaks to the burden of proof being paramount. The fact that this needs to be explained is disturbing.

@@Leec_1972 I used caps on the one word I was emphasizing. I have heard the "believe all women" notion and don't believe in that, but when the police are called over an assault, no matter who makes the claim, a man or a woman, it needs to be investigated. I was saying every case needs to be investigated, that's all. If the police ignored proof that it was a false report, then they failed at their duty, and it's on them, and the woman who made it up and I'd guess he could win a lawsuit over that. If he's hit her before, then he probably needs to get some counseling before thinking about answering questions about his past behavior in the relationship on the stand because it'd probably not make him look good, nor her. (Edit- I was saying that if you don't believe the woman here, you automatically must believe the man. In the video he acted like woman should just not be believed in general, and I was explaining my opinion that you have to take the report seriously until you have evidence that proves otherwise. )
