God damn this video was so validating. I'm glad Mike's only doing 205lbs, I'm always embarrassed putting on 95-115lbs just for sets of 8-12 (I'm much smaller than Mike) and looking like I'm going to cry during the set. As well, also gassed as fuck after just 3 sets and sore for days.

Ugh, the talk about the adductor injury hits home. I've also got an adductor issue that's always there and a forearm/tricep issue that's always on the verge of flaring And I feel that stretching in between sets. If my adductor is feeling iffy that day, I pigeon/hockey stretch off the safety and makes me feel better.

Get some work done on that tore muscle to get the scar tissue out. Deep tissue massage. Painfully deep tissue. I will say that it’ll be hard to find someone proper that can work that out for you. There is also a Bill Starr and Starting strength protocol that works. I can’t remember if there’s a difference between the two but it works and the thought behind it sounds solid.
