Mike you asked for comments. I know the other videos always do better. But for the guys that have been watching for years…we are at this point already. And THANK YOU for this. Helps reset, refocus and get guys like me back on track 👍 not that we are off track, but watching newbies videos don’t help. This is gold for a reset. Thanks 10x over Mike!

THIS IS THE CONTENT I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED! I am only in my second season of lawn care but I absolutely loved this video. I love how you laid everything out like a blueprint, I think this is how I learn best? Maybe I like the business side rather than operations but this is the type of video I have been looking for for the last two years. Thank You!

I often get way too ahead of myself as well so, knowing when to hire certain people and when to start investing is going to be insanely helpful. I feel like I gained so much value from this video I am now considering joining Augusta Nation in the future just so I can give back to you for this content!

This is Gold….”Augusta Gold” 🤩. We are diligently working on doing the boring work and creating our profit center. I love seeing the pathway. I can attest that I always wanted to have multiple locations. before I joined Augusta that vision had no light present at the end of the tunnel. We are on our 4th year inside of Augusta and I am happy to say it looks like we are just about out of that tunnel and I could not be more content with the business.

Thank you Mike, I have been watching your videos since i started my business and attribute the knowledge you share to our success. Thank you for showing us another channel to grow as we are on the verge of either being one large operation or 2 locations of the size you share. For me its hard to imagine a working GM getting all the estimates done when replacing me but then again they wouldn't be doing any admin work as i do admin, sales, and operations. However, i do no field work. Thanks again

This is as great. Thank you. We are at about 1.5 million and I’m still struggling to get fully out of the day to day operations. I’m interested in what the typical week looks like for a working gm. I have a couple of candidates for that and im considering breaking what I have up into two locations for route optimization purposes.

Mike great video man ! Love these in depth videos on a certain topic. Here’s an idea that I’d like to hear about. Growing organically vs acquiring businesses. Many baby boomers will be retiring in 3-10 years aka selling their business. What are your thoughts on growing organically (slower but little debt) vs acquisition. There’s some interesting acquisition roll up strategy that I’d like to hear your thoughts on. All the best man ! Keep up awesome work

This was a great video that watch fully and after the last video you posted which were both great and I’m glad I watched so I will be saved time in the future. I was wondering if you could dive deeper into both videos and the ideas of systems and how close you could get with the ten year and six locations and how that would work with scale up more to different states and countries like you did

Only about 20% of the way through the video but am eager to see how to apply this to my business. I own and operate a rage room, axe throwing, and paint splatter room that’s been open for a little over 2 years. We did a little over $500k last year with roughly a 20-30% profit margin. Looking to grow to another location and am stuck between trying to set up a franchise, or open up a 2nd location on my own.

Mike how do I schedule work as far as mowing vs landscaping? When the mow truck is booked with mowing, is the landscape truck filled with 2 guys that strictly do landscaping? Do you fill mowing truck and landscaping truck to capacity before adding another mowing truck?

Thanks for the video... If year 1 marketing is $30,000 to get to $400,000, should I expect to continue to invest 7.5% of future revenues on marketing until I hit $800,000... Then what does that drop to?

being a franchisee means you are still an employee. Everyone should start their own brand. Mike just doesn't want competitors to Augusta
@MikeAndes7 ай бұрын
I suggest taking a look at the definitions of what a franchise is legally. Seperate entities, seperate revenues, seperate in every way except shared systems, name, and brand. Furthermore, Augusta allows franchisees to leave anytime Augusta Nation is not serving them value in excess of the price they pay. This keeps us honest to constantly improve the value equation. I would love to see more franchises in this space and I hope they adopt the same protocols we use in terms of the giveback program, 3F Program, no renewal fees, no royalties, community, etc
@AugustaLawnCare-Southeast7 ай бұрын
I may be biased, as I am an Augusta Franchisee. Mike gives thousands of hours of free content, available to his “competition”, so they can succeed. His mission is “to change the level of professionalism in the landscape industry. He wants nothing more than to see others succeed, whether they wear Augusta Gold or not. I first started listening to Mike as a competitor, with a business that was doing $400k in revenue (and struggling my butt off). I implemented 2 key pieces of information from mikes channel (paid $0 for this) 1.) pay for performance 2.) estimate videos for projects. This information took my failing business from $400@-$713k in one year. Midway through that year (2020), I decided to transition from my brand to Augusta Lawn Care. BEST BUSINESS DECISION OF MY LIFE. Fast forward to 2024, weeks now have the first location that is on track to do $1.4M and the second location will do $350k this year. A franchise is a locally owned entity that can be sold, and we have autonomy to make any business decisions that we need to make.
