Mike you have been a blessing to this industry. I’m 27 and I own a landscaping business with my brother. Your videos have been incredibly helpful to us and our business. I bought your course and learned a vast amount of info that was a game changer for us. Now you are offering this software and being super transparent as always. Thank you brother!

We used jobber for a few years. We outgrew them . Switched to service autopilot
@geoffl Жыл бұрын
in what ways was jobber lacking? How did service autopilot fix the issue?
@blackbeardlawncare7811 Жыл бұрын
Thanks, Mike! I have never been in a beta, so I don't know if some of my issues will be fixed or not, but these are the things keeping me from jumping in 100%: 1.)The "Rate Us" and Work Request sections of the client portal are not editable. I don't offer many of the services listed and they don't reflect the options selected in the Work Request Form settings. 2.)The estimate is not very editable. There is no $ sign on the prices, the columns don't line up cleanly, and there is a column for sales tax that is unnecessary. 3.)Pictures do not show up in estimates. I have the Twig\Error\LoaderError, but I'm only in the free version, so there is nowhere to submit it. 4.)Emails sent other than estimates and invoices never show as "read". 5.)There are too many steps for the customer to add a card on file. Is there a reason they have to create an account? There are a couple more, but I'm confident that they are just 'placeholder' type issues and will be sorted in time.
@MikeAndes Жыл бұрын
THANK YOU FOR FEEDBACK! Some of these issues are since you are on the free version but we will do better to show that is the reason. 1-4.) all on our radar and being fixed next week. 5.) they should not need to create account… we will ensure their is a tutorial video on this made

We currently use Lmn. The main reason we are with them because we can make divisional budgets for snow, lawn, design build. It will take the budgets made and give a hourly man hr rate for each division. We were going with aspire but they base there pricing structure on the business revenue. We would be paying close to 3k per month. Will you have a divisional budget?
@MikeAndes Жыл бұрын
LMN is awesome for budgeting. We are going to do job costing but not full out budgeting yet

I hope you guys do the budgeting in the near future. I'm looking for software that can scale us past 16m in the years to come.

Is there any chance that the chemical side will have more in-depth automation to it? Such as auto fill the current weather and wind at the current location, company and tech license #'s, truck ID, customer property sq ft automatically populates the box, daily chemical mix entered once in the morning and will use the same product mixture rate to populate each customer that day. When treating the same type of turf with the same chemicals/fertilizer mix, it saves a ton of time not having to enter the same information 30-40 times a day per tech. If doing different types of treatments, having a drop down with those mixture rates and chemicals used can be easier tracked and documented.
@MikeAndes Жыл бұрын
We have chemical tracking now. Admittedly this is the service I have the least experience in. We have some great updates to chemical tracking coming in 2023. HOWEVER, if you could make a screen recording of what you like the most about your current chemical tracking software and send it to support@copilotcrm.com that would help me A LOT! Thanks !

Will copilot integrate incoming customer email similar to service autopilot? For example, if we email a customer their response shows up on their account and similarly if a customer emails in from the email on their account it also it shows up on their account. We use this feature in service autopilot and we love it and helps keep a record of communication all in one place and then we as a team can respond knowing all that has been discussed in the past. Helps greatly on the customer service side.
@MikeAndes Жыл бұрын
Not from Day 1. This is a heavy technical lift and not something we see a a unique differentiator with the changes coming to email technology. That being said, it is on the roadmap for 2024.... and it wont cost extra $50/month like SA.
@joshwhitaker3163 Жыл бұрын
We will make the jump, but I think we will wait one more year. I hope the state chemical report will be more friendly than SA. For the report in SA, I have to export the file and spend hours upon hours each year making it how they want to see it. We are starting pest control company, so I am hoping CP will suit it as well. The big thing with pest control is the time-blocking schedule, and SA does not have that feature, from my understanding. I wish you all the best, and I am cheering you on. Like you, I love many features of so many different CRM, but none fit us as well as SA. I have been with Sa for ten years and had no complaints except for the chem tracking.

I bought LawnPro software based on your recommendations. Why didn’t you cover them in this video? Would appreciate your insights
@MikeAndes Жыл бұрын
They are specific to lawn care. Besides Yardbook and LMN I was trying to stay general for all home service businesses. I will do comparison video down the road. Copilot is similar to LawnPro now (Feb 2023) but that will change as we add more enterprise level features on Copilot
@matthewrobinson5230 Жыл бұрын
Quick question. I have kind of a unique situation for lawn care software. I am 16 right now, just bought a truck and trailer and looking to have a great season! I’m still in school, so I’m not full time or anything, but I want to get systems in place so that when I’m done with school I can go full time and have a large company. What software would you recommend for that situation? Right now yardbook might be best, but I want to learn something that I will be able to use with a larger more sophisticated company. Thanks!
