I read so much about people putting aftermarket headers on these bikes and performing ECU flashes I almost feel convinced that I need to do the same. I've had a 2015 and a 2021 S1000RR and loved them both (as standard). My 2024 bike is arriving soon - will I be able to enjoy it as much as the 2021 bike leaving it as standard as your bike is?

If 210bhp isn't enough for you then go ahead and spend another ton of money and time fitting an aftermarket system and get the ECU flashed. You can save a chunk of weight but personally I'm happy with the stock system, more than enough power, never a problem passing the noise tests (an increasing issue). If you want it to look more 'sexy' put the Akrapovic slip on silencer just the same db as the stock silencer but slightly nicer looking IMHO.
