Stats can be misleading, but accolades can be even worse. The fact that he didn't get a pro bowl nod in his 5k season is disrespectful. He was drafted into a Bryce Young style situation, where the only other bright spot on the roster was Megatron, and without a doubt was the only reason the team was even remotely watchable in the era. And during Megatron's 5-6 year run on pro bowls (can't remember how many it was), Stafford only got the nod once, which implies the powers that be clearly thought one was a product of the other. If he puts in a few more solid years, he should absolutely be in the Hall of Fame, if for no other reason than having survived the franchise that ruined two of thew best players in league history (Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson) and lived to not only tell the tale, but win a Super Bowl elsewhere. He's the real Geno Smith story.
