Beautiful haul. I agree about the TOR review of the channel, and have no idea why every random blog/genre journo/listmaker continues to obsess over the identity angle, as it seems to me talent and interest come first. I can think of favorite books and comics I've enjoyed and the creatives behind them check every identity box out there, but there's more to authors than their skin and gender. Focusing on that sort of thing is just the most shallow possible way of looking at the world.

Hope you could fit it in your schedule somewhere. This books deserves the love if Star Wars fans. I believe James Luceno, the author, had direct discussions with George Lucas for this book and it has some of the ideas George's original sequel trilogy would have used. It was published right before George sold Lucasfilm to Disney and this book was made legends. This is canon to me, and i believe any star wars fan who reads it would consider it canon as well. Discworld is so good, Mike! Don't think of it as a 40+ book series where you have to read EVERYTHING. It's more like just coming back to visit your friends in an awesome fantasy world. There are several smaller "series" that follow the same groups of characters, but most anything can be read and enjoyed in any order. And please don't start with Book 1! Try Small Gods, it's a great introduction to the world, writing style, and a great stand-alone. I'm sure you probably already know all of this, just adding a +1!
