The great Christian singer, Keith Green, when he was seeking truth, looked into all sorts of other religions. He said, “They all pointed at Jesus “ (as a prophet, sage, good, wise, etc) and Jesus was pointing at himself! So that’s when he started investigating Jesus more seriously.

@mike winger.. 29:40 spoke to me what you just said.. the other day I was sitting in my barn and was pondering my life, struggling with depression, wanting to end my life, saught the VA crisis line twice and 2 ER’s. Making 6 figures and feeling empty and lost. As soon as I thought “I’m going to go work for the lord” . I saw this red human heart 🫀 .. like that, nothing gross and this blue mist/vapor slowly engulf the heart. I remember seeing a flash of purple before it got dark blue until I couldn’t see the heart anymore. Then it got really bright and was a memory at that point. When that blue appeared it felt like it has always been around me.. finding this channel has taught me what God’s grace is and the total feeling of understanding and fulfillment I feel is amazing. I’m hoping I’m not “manic” because I was just dragging bottom with depression.. don’t think going from depression to a manic state by seeing a biblical vision of understanding would be the scientific definition of manic.. maybe I’m wrong, I dunno. Thanks for this channel. I’m trying to not see you as a “mega church” because you have so many subs now 😆.. but you are so loving in your message that it lowers peoples guards.. it did for me anyway and I want to thank you for that. I don’t think I’d be where I am today if it wasn’t for God’s grace. Thank you sir! May God continue to Bless this ministry!

HI Mike, awesome as always. Very informative. I was wondering wondering what your view is on keeping the Saturday Sabbath.
@robertosterman48
@robertosterman48 4 жыл бұрын
andre Brown there is nothing wrong with keeping the Saturday sabbath. If you want to do it, then may you honor our lord with your commitment. But you do not have to. We are saved by grace alone and our works do not justify us. The only two commandments Jesus gave us as the new law to replace the old, was to love the Lord G-d with all our heart, mind and soul, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. We must be kind. Loving, and giving, we must not be fearful and seek to squirrel away for ourselves, especially when there are others in need. Our lord will provide for us, and anyone that loses their life for his sake will surely gain eternal life in heaven. Any who offer a kindness in his name will surely not lose there reward. G-d bless you brother, I will pray for your health and also for you to come to a good decision about how you will bring glory and honor to his name, and the strength to stay committed to your pact with the Lord, and be at peace with whatever you choose. Much Love brother, and G-d bless.

@@robertosterman48 Hi Robert, I do appreciate your response. I really do appreciate it. Is the 2 commandments that Jesus gave not a summary of the 10 commandments when you look at it closely? These are referred to as the vertical law (love the Lord GOD with all our heart, mind and soul) and the horizontal law (love our neighbors as ourselves). Jesus himself said that he did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfil it. Jesus's death on the cross however did do away with the sacrificial system of thing, the Mosaic Law not the 10 commandments. Are we to adhere to 9 of the 10 commandments and treat the 4th one as a suggestion and If we are to observe the 10 commandments of which the 4th is the keeping of the seventh day Sabbath, why are we not doing it?
@robertosterman48
@robertosterman48 4 жыл бұрын
andre Brown i hear what you are saying. I feel very strongly about this as well, and I keep the sabbath. My only thing about it is in Paul’s letter he said not to judge a man for the food, drink, festival or sabbath that he keeps. I keep the Saturday sabbath, but I don’t judge others for the sabbath they keep. That’s all. Everyone is entitled to there freedom in Christ. Even to reject him if they want. I do not suggest that, I don’t think it will end well (to be an understatement) but we have that right.
@andrebrown4273
@andrebrown4273 4 жыл бұрын
@@robertosterman48 Hi Robert, Once again thank you very much for your insight. I do commend you for keeping the Sabbath, that is God's will for all mankind. Please do keep in mind that Paul was referring to the ceremonial sabbath's and not the seventh day Sabbath. The seventh day Sabbath was instituted by God for man right in the beginning, before sin came into the world. The ceremonial sabbaths was instituted after sin came into the world. Also bear in mind that Jesus being the Lord of the Sabbath, kept the Sabbath and taught his disciples also to keep the Sabbath by being an example to them. He even kept the Sabbath in his death. I implore you, to please ponder the following thought, If people were killed in the old testament for not observing the Sabbath and Jesus taught us to keep the Sabbath and people will be keeping the Sabbath in the new world, why would we assume that it has been done away with?
@andrebrown4273
@andrebrown4273 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Robert, furthermore, Isaiah 55:8,9,11 says that we cannot comprehend God's ways. If God's ways is perfect as Psalms 18:30 says and he rested, blessed and sanctified the seventh day for all mankind in Genesis 2:3. We can completely trust that God that is omnipotent, omnipresent and is omniscience, knew exactly what he was doing and why he was doing it. Why would we assume that the Sabbath was changed, does Jeremiah 17:5,9 and Jeremiah 10:23 not warn us to rely on God? The Sunday Sabbath was instituted by mankind and not our creator, Daniel prophesied about this in Daniel 7:25 and Jesus warned us this will happen in Matthew 15:9. God gave mankind his moral laws, which is the 10 commandments to follow. John says in 1 John 3:4 that sin is the transgression of the law and Paul and John reminds us that sinners will not inherit Gods kingdom in Revelation 22:15, 1 Corinthians 6:9,10, Galatians 5:19-21, Ephesians 5:5, 1 Timothy 1:9 and Hebrews 12:14. If God gave His unchanging commandments in Exodus 20:1-17 and these commandments are unchanging as Malachi 3:6 and Matthew 5:18 states and even though Paul's writings are sometimes misunderstood 2 Peter 3:16, Luke makes it explicitly clear who we should follow in Acts 5:29, Paul makes it explicitly clear who we should follow in Galatians 1:10, 1 Thessalonians 2:4, Colossians 3:23. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Corinthians 13:14

Yes and the word "must" that Jesus said about His death, etc. reminds me that He also said that we "must" have our trials and tribulations, wars, etc. - which is included in His plan for our salvation. Some are horrendous but whatever comes our way that is "painful", unfair, etc. we are to "endure" with the Holy Spirit's help, looking forward to our "reward" in heaven. "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, .." Matthew 24:6 Many don't seem to realize this and are many false teachings out there that are the opposite. Jesus also warned to "count the cost" before committing. That is all part of our "cross". We need to be mindful of the "bad things" that will undoubtedly happen to us and some bc we are Christians. And we must indeed "die to self", which usually isn't too appealing to our selfish, prideful "human" selves. But I also take it as more "evidence" that the gospels were NOT fabricated stories to start the Christian movement as many argue. No - the preponderance of evidence against that making any sense is overwhelming. No benefit to the writers then, ridiculousness of having a fake Jesus that fulfilled ALL Old Testament prophecies that the Jews could easily check & a religion which would cause division, persecution, etc. wouldn't sell too well, among other reasons. More teachings on that would be helpful I think.

@@caroleimani9754 I know it looks like nitpicking when I say "that's not the whole sentence Jesus said" but the 2nd part of the sentence is actually important to understand what Jesus meant. He said: *"Take up your cross and follow me."* When Jesus took up his cross (literally), where did he go? To the place he was crucified. That's where we follow him with our own cross. When we take up our cross we go to our crucifixion. That's why it says in Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ...". We follow Jesus. We must die, too. (not literally, but our self, our ego). What do you not have anymore when you are dead? A will and desires. To be crucified with Jesus means we subordinate our own will to God's will. We deny ourselves and don't live our desires anymore. This is a daily battle. Every day, every minute, we have to "count ourselves dead to sin" (Romans 6:11) and walk in the Spirit instead of the flesh (the flesh being our desires). Paul says in Romans 6:6-7 "For we know that *our old self was crucified with him* so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should *no longer be slaves to sin* - because *anyone who has died has been set free from sin."* I hope that was somewhat understandable. Feel free to ask if not. God bless you!

One reason Jesus would say do not tell others, one thought would be that when you do things and publicize it are you looking for personal credit And prases and many people like to go but they don’t want it Known because they are giving it from their heart and they don’t know because they are not looking for personal praises

Here is something the disciples did know about Messiah: And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on. And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment. (Luke 23:54-56) The Sabbath day is the 7th day, of the week.

And Yeshua said to them, “But what is it you are saying about me as to who I am?” Shimeon answered and he said to him, “You are The Messiah, The Son of THE LIVING GOD.” What?!? Son of the living God? How can he be the son if he is one of the co-equal members of the trinity? If he's a member of the trinity, he would have to be his own father, wouldn't he? Does that make any sense?

@CDTV The Trinity is impossible to understand because it is not real. There is NO Trinity. It is a Pagan belief going back to ancient Babylon and adopted by the Catholic Church Jesus did NOT always exist , He was created by Almighty God. That's why He is called the "Son of God", His Father brought Him into existence. False Church teachings have been confusing people for centuries, and these lies contaminate the entire religion making it detestable to God.
@truthbetold8610
@truthbetold8610 4 жыл бұрын
@CDTV No, the Scriptures are God's word of truth. Are you referring to the most misunderstood Scripture at John 1:1 or some other one? The confusion is often the result of improper renderings of Hebrew and Greek words. There are places Jesus is called "a mighty god", meaning Divine in nature but is never called "Almighty God".
@truthbetold8610
@truthbetold8610 4 жыл бұрын
@CDTV I have time to address one point, but you have many valid ones. In his letter to the Colossians, Paul wrote: “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; because by means of him all other things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All other things have been created through him and for him. Also, he is before all other things and by means of him all other things were made to exist.”-Col. 1:15-17. Jesus is the first Creation of the Father, Almighty God. In fact, every thing created after Jesus' would be done by Jesus through the power of His Holy Spirit God gave Him. Jesus did not always exist, therefore the Trinity is a false teaching. Actually, Jesus never claimed to be Almighty God YHWH, but God,s SON. It was the Jewish leaders who made that false charge in order to have Him killed. As for other points, we would have to refer to specific Scriptures to address those. Nice to have had a discussion with you!

Jesus had one job. You're almost there. You're so close and I'm so excited for you Mike. I want to show you the Glory which is the Messiahs which was hidden in plain sight on the cross. The real reason Jesus wept in the Garden of Gethsemane. The anguish of His soul that killed Him on the cross. The reason the sun went out. We've looked at the cross all wrong and even misunderstood Isaiah

@CDTV certainly. G-Ds word is from everlasting as His Sons word is. The perfect catch 22 situation was created on the cross. The Father sends the Son to the cross and the reason the Son doesn't want to go is because of the greatest commandment. What happens on the cross breaks Jesus heart so much so that it kills Him. Jesus had one job and He pulled it off so perfectly it killed Him. It literally broke His heart.

Deuteronomy 21:22-23 G-Ds word Matthew 3:17 G-Ds word Matthew 22:37-38 Jesus word John 6:37 Jesus word Now read Luke 23:39-44 and see how Jesus broke Deuteronomy 21:22-23 in a single sentence placing G-Ds word in direct conflict with each other. Deuteronomy 21:22-23 against Matthew 3:17. Luke 23:44-45 the sun goes out because The Father cannot judge without breaking His eternal word. His only option is to hand over judgement to the Son. The one thing that Jesus could never do is break His Fathers word and it is exactly what His Father sent Him to do. The one job Jesus had was to go to the cross to save just one man and in saving that man saved all of us. Isaiah was a Jewish man witnessing a man so marred through the veil of time thinking that this man must be cursed because of the punishment displayed on the tree. Isaiah knows the law therefore cannot comprehend fully thinking Jesus is cursed by G-D because of the suffering that He's put through on a tree. Through Jesus the promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is fulfilled. Praise G-D. John 17 fulfilled and Jesus is glorified on the cross and hidden behind the Pharisees attempt to bring the Son of G-D down to our level.

@CDTV I did not say the sun set. When Jesus said "I promise you, today you will be with me in Paradise" was the criminal not deserving of the curse of Deuteronomy 21:22-23. Is G-Ds word not from everlasting to everlasting? So is Jesus not going against His Fathers word when He promises a cursed man Paradise? The criminal admits that he is deserving and under the condemnation of Deuteronomy as all three hanging there are Jewish. Do we really think that Jesus is unaware of Deuteronomy 21:22-23? Jesus knows His Fathers word better then any man could and when He answered the Pharisees concerning the greatest commandment He was talking about Himself and how He loves G-D the Father. We cannot begin to comprehend fully the depth of His love for the Father and its only when we begin understand this love that we understand why Jesus wept in the garden. Jesus broke His Fathers word under instruction from His Father. Jesus one job wasn't to save all of us it was to save just one man and by saving him, He saves everyone who asks like that criminal. "And now Father, I have done all that you sent me to do". Don't take my word for it read the scriptures I've shown you. Jesus was crowned with Glory. Hebrews 1:8 and Revelations 3:21. Once you grasp this all the parables that Jesus told will make perfect sense.
@theunknownpreacher9833
@theunknownpreacher9833 5 жыл бұрын
@CDTV as an aside. Jesus is sinless because it is with the heart a man sins and the promise was made out of love. So in the Fathers eyes His Son Is His beloved in whom He is well pleased and He couldn't have been more proud of His Son in that moment when His Son put His own eternity on the line to save the criminal. Salvation is the greatest most glorious miracle in all of eternity and it belongs to G-D. The cross is the greatest act of love that ever has been displayed.

@CDTV "Father if it were at all possible, remove this cup from me, but not my will be done but Your will be done". Which would you rather believe that The Father went against His word in the new testament Matthew 3:17, John 3:16 and His wrath was in the cup or that The Father went against His word I'm the old testament and sent the Son to Paradise with a cursed man? Tell me would you be able to trust G-D in the same way Jesus did by going where He told you to go and facing a curse that He places on you and setting your own eternity aside to save a man? Do you not understand the true test of Jesus faith? It was not the cross but what He had to do on the cross. The promise made to a cursed man that cost the Father His throne which He gladly gave up to the Son. What causes you discomfort is thinking the Son sinned, but He didn't for it is with the heart a man sins and Jesus heart was for His fellow man and His Father. He laid down His life gladly for one man according to His own word. The brutality of the cross was an attempt to bring the Son of G-D down to our level because if we had succeeded all men could accuse G-D saying "look at your Son if He couldn't do it how do you expect us to?". Thus every wicked man would be able to enter the Fathers presence without having to repent. The other side of this is if Jesus had not saved that man we would all be doomed because He sets an impossible standard and we would have to keep it in thought, word and deed and a single mistake would doom you to hell. This guarantees nobody goes to Paradise. Like I said examine the scriptures and ask the Holy Spirit to show you if what I say is true or not. Don't trust me trust G-D. I've showed you the scriptures now its up to you to reconcile them within you. Consider this, if I'm right then the gate is narrow and our choice is clear, we don't get to choose G-D or Jesus. He chooses us when we humbly ask to be saved and the Gospel of Jesus is "I promise you, today you will be with me in Paradise". Romans 10:13. Romans 8:38-39 becomes a fact for you.

William Cornelius I can, Hell as you know it doesn't exist. The Hebrew word (Sheol) and the Greek (Hades) both mean the "grave", the abode of the dead, a "place of concealment". For centuries the Catholic Church has taught that hell is a place where the souls of wicked people suffer eternal torment. Apparently, that has changed. Hell “is not a punishment imposed externally by God,” says Pope John Paul II, “but a development of premises already set by people in this life.” So reports L’Osservatore Romano. “Rather than a place,” the pontiff says, “hell indicates the state of those who freely and definitively separate themselves from God, the source of all life and joy.” He adds that “eternal damnation” is not God’s work; rather, “it is the creature who closes himself to [God’s] love.” Apparently the Church can't figure out what they believe.

@@truthbetold8610 This is my understanding at the moment. I'm pretty sure Hell as it it commonly understood was originally part of Greek mythology. The Catholics later adopted the concept. The wages of sin is death, not eternal damnation and torment.

Hell is happening right now for the Children of Israel. Isaiah 5:13-14 13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. 14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. The Children of Israel will be in hell until the Messiah returns. Wisdom of Solomon 5:1-5 1 Then shall the righteous man stand in great boldness before the face of such as have afflicted him, and made no account of his labours. 2 When they see it, they shall be troubled with terrible fear, and shall be amazed at the strangeness of his salvation, so far beyond all that they looked for. 3 And they repenting and groaning for anguish of spirit shall say within themselves, This was he, whom we had sometimes in derision, and a proverb of reproach: 4 We fools accounted his life madness, and his end to be without honour: 5 How is he numbered among the children of God, and his lot is among the saints!

@@davidmilton5887 Not a proper rendering. in Isaiah 5:14 the word wrongly rendered as Hell is the Hebrew word "Sheol" meaning the grave. This is one of the biggest issues with Bibles that do not translate words properly. The result is confusion and belief in something, in this case "Hell", that is not true. Everywhere in the Bible, most, not all Bibles, when you see the word "Hell" it means simply the GRAVE. In Hebrew the word is "Sheol" and in Greek it's "Hades".

Christians need to understand this to understand the Bible. The New Testament did not start till the death of Jesus Christ. The life of Jesus Christ before His crucifixion was part of the Old Testament. Jesus Christ came to fulfill the law and the Old Testament. Gal 4:4-5 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. Hebrews 9:11-18 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause *he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death,* for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For *where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.* For *a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.* Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. So you have to understand that the New Testament did not start until the death of Jesus Christ. That being the case, the testimony/ministry of Jesus Christ was directed to the Jews and the Nation of Israel. Matt 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Matt 10:5-6 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. The parables Jesus spoke were directed towards Israel. The parable of the 10 Virgins were for Israel during the Tribulation Period. Failure to understand this is failure to rightly divide scriptures.

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Joh 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The Resurrection Body 1Co 15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 1Co 15:36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 1Co 15:37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 1Co 15:38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 1Co 15:39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 1Co 15:40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 1Co 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 1Co 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 1Co 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 1Co 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 1Co 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 1Co 15:48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 1Co 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

If His 'Name' is Truth (provable in scripture), then Truth will die so chaos can ensue. When He judged the nature of all 'living creatures', He found none to be His partner, so He took the 'bentness' (rib) out of Him and named Her 'Woman'... why? Who is she? Is it not written that she is Wisdom? That She is the 'Wild Olive Tree'? What did she bare upon Her fall? What does Cain mean? What does every word in each verse mean starting from Gen 1:1? Are we suppose to perceive our Spiritual Father through fleshly 'eyes' or through a contrite heart? We know that He is physical, why do we constantly refuse to perceive His spiritual things and instead place Him under a microscope? Are these things not the matters of 'Kings' to search out? All my understandings in His things are not from me. I just witness and pray for confirmation. I might be slightly annoying at times, but I want to ensure I am properly discerning that which is of Truth and not of Truth. Do not believe anything anyone says, but test ALL THINGS. To base your belief off the opinions of corruptible Man, is ignorance and being without Truth. And if we are without Truth, then we are what????? Just my opinions.... until you've tested them.

I don't think this is what it means. Jesus mentions his holy angels and glory. In context of the entire scripture Christ glory would have been his resurrection and the angels were there to anounce his resurrection BY the angels, in rolling the stone away and revealing Christ being absent from the tomb.
