Dude I like this guy! He’s saying everything I’ve discovered about the wacky right I’ve discovered in the last year. Just confirms it.

Hrs a guru with the backwards worm man, I get in the boat with Tim throwing the Wacky and he'll catchb5 to my 1 was pretty cool to have him break it all down

Well, that explains quite a bit about my failure with the wacky rig!😂 Wrong hook insertion, and proper boat position. Great video! Learned some great information about wacky rig fishing. Never gave any thought about preventing a “U” in the line…until I heard it here. Will definitely give wacky rig fishing a new chance with that information alone!

Great wacky tips! I finally figured out how to throw a totally weedless wacky deep under flooded brush and have been crushing them on it. I call it the Waco rig and it has really changed how I skip flooded brush.

If you go to Hammond's.... Be prepared to leave very poor!! LOL Not because of the prices, but because they have SOOOOOOOO much GREAT gear!! What was that jighead that you and Tim were using last year on Lanier?? It was one that was hard to get I believe... Anyway, I found out why I SUCK at fishing a wacky rig :) Great video!

Excellent. One of the best short and direct fishing lessons I have ever watched on KZbin. Thanks Mikey. What size hook do you use with your keitech 2.8 baits? 2 or 3? Scottsboro.

I know 60% of the time I make that mistake setting the hook every time. I’m an Old Catfish Guy and used to power setting that 7 and 8/0 circle hook and it’s hurting my Bass fishing a lot I think, I’ve had Yum Dingers come flying back by my Noggin lol. Great Video my Friend

I've just switched over to a 3/O Trokar EWG regular hook with a slightly deeper rigged T rig weightless on 12lb flouro. Smashes perfectly in crystal clear water and you get to do the hook set 😉👌

I see lots of guys setting hooks on wacky rigs and then I see them break off…. I use 6-8# test light wire hook, no setting hooks needed..

Hey Mike excellent video I mean holy smokes bro that guy is a wacky rig gu rue. And yes Mike I was making the mistake of setting the hook instead of just reeling like your buddy was saying. I always hit the like button and God bless you and your family and my buddy bogs.

Okay, I'm confused so maybe you can settle this. This is a question specifically for the wacky rig, o-ring or no o-ring? I saw you using both.
@timhawkins8611 Жыл бұрын
I personally use the vmc cross over and o-rings Lots of diff situations for both of them Also just hook through the side of a senko when the bite is tougher and I’m not catching a lot of fish
