Noticed something cool. Hobie's thing about consistency goes beyond his color pallet changing. Here with his Spiderman mask on he's hiding more of his identity, so his animation matches the "magazine letter cut out" style. He looks 2D as opposed everyone else. But when he takes his mask off at the spider society building, he becomes 3D because he's hiding less.

At 8:27. U can see that Gwen turns really pink after she told miles that he is amazing. This shows her admiration and true feelings for him. Man, she truly loves him. Another thing to mention, when hobie said “Is this the younger from 1610” gwen immediately gasps and turns pink because gwen is blushing because she never stopped talking about miles to hobie when miles and her were separated. I think hobie is the only one that knows that Gwen is in love with miles.

Daniel Kaluuya was actually raised in Camden and they let him use his actual accent. For me it was nice to see some proper punk representation. Hobie was the absolute best part for me. Plus his intro song, in another nice little detail, was by a band called Cerebral Ballzy from New York who's frontman is African American and Puerto Rican just like Miles.

Odd thing is Spot is unlike any other Spiderman bad guy. As we see when they get to the Spider HQ almost every bad guy Spiderman has fought has some sort of variant in another universe, no doubt multiple versions across any number of dimensions Flip forward to when Miles is escaping and Miguel pins him against the moon train and basically tells him he is a mistake, he was never meant to be Spiderman. Well given that Miles being Spiderman played a pivotal role in creating Spot this would also likely mean that Spot is unique within the multiverse as well, a mistake created by the actions of a mistake.

one thing that gets me about this whole sequence is that the black spots destroying mumbattan are nothing like the glitches that were taking place in both miles’ universe in ITSV nor like the glitches that destroyed Miguel’s universe in ATSV. Kinda makes me think that this was the spot’s doing (intentionally or not) and not due to the canon being broken in some way, idk tho we’ll find out in the next movie 😦

I noticed that when spot goes into the beam and miles sees his dad dying he sees the police chief in the Indian spiderman world dying. That means that they can save Miles dad because the thing that creates his canon event (his dad dying) is caused by an anomaly (spot) Spot was never supposed to exist but for some reason he’s in the canon? As in Both Miles’s dad and the Indian police chief are linked, even though that Link requires the fight of spiderman and someone who’s not supposed to exist? Idk why but reading comments on who will dies in btsv gives me anxiety. I hope Gwen doesn’t die, Miles dad or anyone. But one theory that does stick out with me is his mother. They show his mother so many times that I feel like she will be the one to go. When you think about it in the video game miles dad passes away therefore whose to say miles mom in the spider verse dies in this universe. From what I heard the directors wanna go against spidermen having to loose there love ones, but I feel like miles himself will even have to sacrifice himself considering he is supposedly an “anomaly”. Hopefully the miles were use to trains earth 42 ( sorry if I’m wrong with the number) therefore we do have a miles morales whose still Spider-Man. I hope no sacrifices have to be made in the next movie. It sucks because it feels like in order to win some sacrifices do have to be made.

There are a couple versions of the movie with several subtle changes. They changed a few things in the digital version like the audio, dialogue and so on so yeah, you’re right!

it's the fact spot blatantly blames everything on miles even though all he really ever did was throw a bagel at him. spot was in the wrong place at the wrong time during the explosion. but miles is completely in the wrong for disregarding spot and treating him like any other weird criminal rather then giving him comfort and actually apologizing even if it wasn't really MUCH of his fault. Mile's lack of care is what created this version of spot in the first place.

When you find out Hobei hates the Spiderman organization, you realize why he liked Miles. When they first met he was throwing subtle jabs at Miles. About his suit, Gwen's toothbrush and when Miles gave him orders to stop the building. He really had no reason to like Miles right off the bat. The switch up was after he broke the canon. He was all of a sudden so cool with Miles because he thought that Miles didnt give a shit about it just like him.

I just realize Spot is doing all this because it simply gives him the chase and new identity. Before I wondered why he would do all this if he seems friendly & passive, but he’s lost old self. Him not wanting to be a subject for people to mock or experiment, he takes this path simply because it will fill the void & unlock the fullest purpose of his new form, hopefully allowing him to accept himself.

It's kind of heartbreaking yet such a subtle detail that people either miss or don't think of it as such. But when Hobie is running people off the bridge. Then we pan to the captain noticing the little girl. I believe he knew about the Canon event as Lyla would've informed him of it the same as she did with Gwen. Therefore, he reluctantly left the little girl there to let the event play out. That's why he has the reaction he did when Miles saved them. Because it falls in line with how he thinks as it's completely against authority. However, this is the first time another Spider-Man has gone against the code. Regardless, if it was unintentionally. This is why Hobie takes the route he does for the remainder of the film. So, had Miles not been there. He and Gwen would still be in the Society. This also leads him to ask Gwen how much she shared with Miles. As he quickly picked up that Miles did not know about canon events from how quickly Miles was eager to tag along with the Spider Society. Sure, Gwen could've saved both the little girl and the captain. However, knowing how Hobie is and seeing how close he was from there, it couldn't have gone past his awareness. That's pretty damn tragic.

I will personally never forgive them for removing Gwen's worried cries as she searches for Miles in the rubble for the digital version. It's the ONE scene that EXPLICITLY proves she cares more than she lets on
