i found it really interesting how Doug says there is no team that can beat them which at the time was right and then Newbury Park came along. It’s just crazy to think there was a time before Newbury. Can’t wait to see these two clash more.

Ben Rees they’re not the smartest academic school. There’s probably not a single kid out of there who’s gonna score a 1600 on the SAT, which is pretty sad. These kids spend too much time running, and they’re going to burn their legs out by the time they hit college. Not enough time studying.

Jackson Schwartz I know they have a phenomenal team and produce the best runners in the country (which is an understatement), but it’s still a high school. They gotta accept the people made for JV, & if they cut people/do try outs that’s kinda dumb lol.

Girls running 7:10 pace for a 7 mile recovery run? I mean my recovery pace is like 7:10-7:40 and my pr is 17:32 which isn’t terrible

Isaac Oquendo yea that seemed kind of off to me

Yeah that is not recovery pace at all...it's easy to take risks like not recovering when you have 200 athletes though.
@nathanjauert33946 жыл бұрын
It seems insane but those paces for those girls are nothing. There top girl just ran a 16:06 at Woodbridge last weekend. 7:10 pace for them is very well conversational. They have only absolute monsters over there at Great Oak and it is because of the work they put in. Good PR man! Mine is 16:28
@isaacoquendo30546 жыл бұрын
Nathan Jauert yeah I’m a junior and I wanna run sub 17 this year but yeah that’s crazy cause I’m from Kansas and the best girls here are usually maybe in the 18s we’ve only had maybe 3 girls total in the 16s recently one of them being cailee logue
@nathanjauert33946 жыл бұрын
Isaac Oquendo you can accomplish whatever you set your mind to if you put in the work. Oh ok. It’s a little different in California 😂😂 but still that’s good
