So I guess a whole bunch of us came looking for this performance after seeing her mention it on the Howard Stern interview with Metallica. It absolutely blows my mind, try telling someone in 2005 "Yeah the singer that plays Hannah Montana will be performing a Metallica song with the band in 15 years." She is so good in this performance, and knowing what it meant to her at that moment after just losing her house and knowing she was getting divorced.

Floor Jansen (with Nightwish) Simone Simon's (with Epica) Those 2 are more operatic symphonic metal. A more pop/easier to digest musically would be, Elize Ryd (with Amaranthe)

I've always said that. Yet, I bought her rock album, and it had a lot of people working with her on it, and I was so disappointed in it. She didn't quite get it hard enough or something. (It got stuck in my previous cars CD player and I gave that car to a friend to fix it and keep for themselves and they love that car now) Even still, I stick with my original thought, too. She's so much better than just a pop artist.
