I have one of these in the blue grain colour coming along with the addiesdive sand dial and san martin SN0129. Couldn't find many videos of this watch at all so super glad to be able to see video footage of this one before it comes. I love the dial and really considered getting the baltic mr01. It's a pity that the strap is so long though. I would've probably used one of my own anyway but the length of the strap means it'll basically be one for the bin for me considering my 6.25 inch wrist. I think I'll be using a grey leather or a black sailcloth strap for this guy.

it was an odd decision by them...obviously not too much thought got put into the strap (length and buckle). but enjoy it anyway. it's a looker!

Thanks for the review! This is a great looking watch, and I don’t know how it can cost so little. The only thing I’d change is to take 1-2mm off the length of the hands. I’m not a fan of minute hands that reach all the way across to the far side of the minute markers. Then if you did the same to the hour hand to maintain proportion between the two, it wouldn’t hang over the hour numbers. Wouldn’t keep me from buying this, though.

@bigbodykarate6403 not a rip off because the dial is different and if you didn't know all Baltic watches are inspired by vintage watches. They are all homages to watches of the past 😆 plus the MR01 is running a Chinese movement, don't talk if you don't know.

Here I can see a few familiar ingredients from the Baltany 1921. The hands and the applied induces. I wouldn't doubt the parts came from the factory who supplied to Baltany for their 1921 model.

screwdown caseback, as in the entire caseback screws to the case. there are no screws holding the caseback in place.

Do they make an automatic version of this? A Seagull ST-17 movement would be an affordable option. Sapphire and automatic and it would be a stunner.

Thx for the review. Well, it has the same drawback as its gen counterpart : on the blue dial, the reflections are too heavy, which spoil the magnificence of the texture. Besides, as it's a quartz, you lose the beauty of the micro-rotor movement. They could use one, it's not that expensive : Lobinni makes it. So both together could do a nice hommage. But finally, the weird branding would refrain me from buying.

They did it again (the Chinese LOL poorman’s baltic LOL, the blue grained is my preference, for 76usd this very competitive pricepoint equals cheap. Only the name is not good Milatado considering the watch is a dressy kind LOL😄

That's a nice little watch. But I'm not spending money on watches with mineral crystal. I'd happily pay $ 30 for the watch with a sapphire crystal. The salmon would be my pick and I'd be all over it!

Alexander, I can pretty much tell you that we will never get it. It is the nature of their game. Ever noticed in the smart phone world, you will never see the 3-card slot affair (2 SIM + 1 SD card) on a top-tier phone? It is reserved for the mid-tier phones as their tactics to attract people to buy them. You are probably thinking, we pay top dollars to buy a flagship phone, why can't we have it all? Well, it is the way it is. They won't put that feature on a flagship. Essentially, to have a watch with all the goodies that we want, we will have to buy a watch a tier above this. It is not a matter that we can pay extra and get our life complete and they are not interested in it. No economy watch will check off all the boxes. This is their business model they run. See what I'm getting at?
