Yep. Our politicians are morons. We gotta wait 25 to 30 years for a Nuclear Submarine that will be at that time, well out of date. And the current cost is 365 bloody BILLION dollars. So not only are we paying for useless Virginia Class Subs, (in 25 years time), we are also paying for America to R&D anything in her military! The entire AUKUS agreement is a fucking joke. Whether they would have been delivered more quickly is a counter factual. For now, Naval Group appear to be hawking IP from the Aussie contract - good luck to them but it's pretty, well French.
