pro tip - mix a few tablespoons of butter or cream into the melted chocolate, it will still set hard, but it will look extra glossy and not snap or crack when you cut it

In Australia we call this caramel slice and it used to be popular at school and church fetes. You can still find the commercially produced version in cafes here but nothing beats the homemade caramel slice.

What a coincidence you made millionaire bars with gold stars and put them in a container containing three horses on it after we just had the first Triple Crown winner in 37 years. Those would have been the perfect bars to serve at a triple crown party they look absolutely decadent.. I love Kerrygold butter I have some in my fridge now

Yum! I came from Emmys channel and subbed. You guys are adorable at the seaside together. I am in love with Ireland! I wear an Irish ring and green is my fav color! I sometimes buy both Kerigold butter AND the cheeses. Black cheddar? I don't know the names now but one is in a black wrapper and another kind of cream colored. Anyway thankyou for the recipe.
