I like this video better than the pliers and crescent wrench videos. I do not know where you are getting your tools. I just looked on Craig's List and they want $90.00 to $136.00 with no case for the same Sawzall you paid $30.00.

the older model gearbox would be pain to remove old grease

The short black Makita is an excellent sawzall. So much better than running an extension cord.
