I actually own a fancy pants cold brew maker and a tea advent calendar (both courtesy of my family who mistakes my coffee addiction for a penchant for coffee-adjacent drinks in general) so I got up again and prepared that cold brew for tomorrow. I’m very excited!

@@saraleena007 When you brew coffee withouth any heat (: You pour about a part of ground coffee and 8 (or more) parts of water, let it brew overnight or up to 24 hours, then strain it. I use a french press, just don't press it until it's done. Drink cold, with ice and optional milk, sweeteners, etc.

here are some snack or breakfast ideas... rasperry toasties:. Put frozen rasperries, cinnamon and honey (maybe some nut butter as well) in a sandwich or wrap and toast it in a sandwich toaster. Its perfect for summer when you feel like a toastie but it's too hot. You get a cold, sweet kind of surprise. multi seed crackers: also a really easy way to make homemade crackers that are very expensive from a supermarket is soak whatever seeds you want in boiling water (make sure to have a decent portion of them as chia seeds or flak seeds for binding) and then add spices and whatever flavours you want. Then just spread the mixture over a baking sheet and bake until golden brown. strawberry pie porridge: dice ripe and sweet strawberries and add to oat milk, white chia seeds and oats (I think oat milk is the sweetest tasting milk so it works well for this porridge). Then add as much honey and vanilla extract as you would like, but not much is needed as the milk absorbs the sweetness from the strawberries. For spices I use a mix of cinnamon, ginger, clove and corriander (hot cross bun spices). To top the porridge chop up strawberries and drizzle peanut butter. Then sprinkle cacao nibs and cinnamon on top. hope someone likes these :)

you can also roll up banana/mango/peach/pineapple pieces in rice paper, cook until golden brown in a non stick skillet with a bit of oil..you can also use tahini, any nutbutter, chocolatespread etc as an additional filling or topping..tastes really yummy with vegan yoghurt and is super quick to make

In the spirit of finals weeks, I’d also like to request a no-dishes video. The only thing I’ve managed to come up with is ramen with veggies and tofu which you can make with just one bowl, a knife, chopsticks and a kettle. But other than that, I’m stumped.

Maybe oat/oatmeal bites? Or something like this, I think you would need only a spoon to take the ingredients and bowl to mix them. If you make a lot and store them you don't have to do the dishes for a long time after the prepping!

how about one-pot-pasta or by extension any type of one-pot-dish? you could eat out of the pot as well ^^
@tsundere85322 жыл бұрын
maybe try foods that would only season a frying pan? for example some frozen veggies (small ones like peas carrot slices, other sliced veggies not broccoli florets) can be very quickly sauteed in a really hot pan with onion salt (which leaves you with a seasoned pan). then you could saute some firm tofu and finally heat up frozen rice in the pan and top it all with a dressing on a disposable plate. that would leave you with a still "clean" pan and you can use disposable plates n cutlery. It would also give you much-needed vitamins from the veggies since there is almost no difference between frozen and raw veggies.

I have an amazing vegan blueberry brownie recipe that is soo good and easy. You just mash like 1 cup blueberries in a bowl and then add about 1 cup oats . (These are similar to the walnut banana bread so you can totally swap blueberries for bananas) then I didn’t Measure the rest of these ingredients but I just added them by my own preferences. 2 tablespoons peanut butter , half a teaspoon of baking powder ,1 teaspoon of chia seeds, one teaspoon of cocoa powder, two teaspoons of honey and like 2 teaspoons of protein powder. I mixed all of those ingredient and spooned the batter to my air fryer on “bake setting” at 180 degrees ( you can also use and oven at the same time and temp) for around 15 minutes. Once it cooled I cut them into squares and drizzled some dark chocolate on top. I also cut little hearts out of strawberry slices and stuck them onto the chocolate to make little Valentine’s Day brownies ❤️ (totally optional ) these brownies are soo good and juicy and filling , you just have to try! (None of these measurements have to be exact and you can change the recipe anyway you’d like)

Watching this makes me so happy!!! Thank you YTer! TW: EDs, ARFID As someone who's suffering with an ED known as ARFID (essentially, I'm very scared of all foods due to the fact it could poison me), this really helps me feel more... how do I put it.... safe? I'm still living with my parents who cook for me, so I'm scared that when I move out, I'll have no food to eat that I won't be scared of! But watching all these videos, and realising that it isn't as difficult or dangerous as my EDs saying it is, really helps me. So if you're reading this, person who made this video, thank you. 💜

Hi, I love your videos, you give me so many amazing ideas😌 I have a few ideas for snacks for you: matcha, a sandwich and a smoothie. They are random but seriously delicious: 1. Mix matcha powder (2 tbs) with hot water (80-90 C), but you need to mix it very well. I don’t at any sweeter, you can of course. Pour it into some nice glass, and then start preparing the milk. Add any time of milk that you can froth, I add mine to the pan, then pour it into the milk frother. When it’s ready put it on top of the glass, sprinkle with more matcha powder and a drizzle of e.g. agave syrup. 2. Toast any type of bread you like, when it’s ready spread some vegan butter and then put in any type of vegan cheese. At the same time heat some pan with olive oil. Then add FRESH minced garlic, roast it for 1-2 minutes. When it’s ready add a big handful of spinach with salt, pepper, paprika and dried herbs. Let it wilt down with a splash of water, but not too much, around 2-3 minutes. Transfer it to the bread, put it on the plate and cut a slice of tomato, sprinkle a little bit of salt, and drizzle flavoured olive oil. 3. To the blender add: one ripe orange, a big handful of spinach, frozen mango and pineapple, 2 tbsp of matcha powder, 2 tbsp of chlorella, a handful of kale (without stem), lemon juice, chia seeds, a drizzle of maple syrup, of course, avocado ( half or a whole one, depends on the proportion) and a half a glass of your fav type of vegan milk (mine oat) Mix it well, and transfer to the nice glass😉 I hope they will be useful at some point

Loved the recipes, they look so easy to make yet delicious! I love your channel and how you show so much variety and make such creative snacks using vegan ingredients!! PS: For the 'dirty chai' one that person who commented got a bit confused. 'Chai' is a word in many South Asian languages for 'tea' so saying 'chai tea' literally means saying 'tea tea'. Saying it as 'chai latte' doesnt make it any better. Just call it masala chai, thats the kind most of the ppl refer to when they say 'chai tea'. Masala chai already has milk in it so u neednt add 'latte' either. Masala chai can also be called as Indian spiced tea because thats what it translates to :3

My go to smoothie/snack is 1 banana + 1/2 avocado + silken/soft tofu (amount depends on how much ur okay with tofu flavor and how thick u want it to be). Suuuuppper creamy + thick and really easy to blend since nothing is frozen. As a variation u can add ground black sesame for a different flavor or another fruit

maybe I'm a little late but it's never too late for snacks recipes 🙆‼️one of my favorite things to do is energy bites/squares, here one of my favorite ones that really keeps my hunger calmed down: 2-3 tbsp pb ~70g apple (u can heated them up a little on a skillet to make it more easily to come together, but this is step is totally optional!) 2 ½ tbsp flax seed, grounded pinch of salt + cinnamon enough oat flour to make it moldable, used about 2 flat tbsp? if it isn't sweet enough for you, add some sweetner of ur choice:) blend it, thats it

Another really easy and tasty brussel sprouts recipe my mom cooks all the time are caramelised brussel sprouts. You just have to cut them in half like you did and then sear them with some chopped up dates until they are kind of crispy and turn brown. I personally really love this recipe because it isn’t your typical, traditional brussel sprouts dish but puts a quick and fresh spin on it. :)

Great ideas once again. I wonder whether I could do a cheese cake type of thing with the ricepaper using quark and maybe some starch. will have to try that. Also, I just saw a nice little hack on Shelbizlee's latest video for the sprouts. She fries them first and then adds a splash of water to the pan, puts on a lid to steam them and the water evaporates. No need for using the strainer, so less washing up.
