If a blender starts smelling almost burned it could just simply be friction within the machine from aging or misaligned parts. It could potentially be something more serious. However my blender always smelled like burned rubber when used since day 1, so I don't worry about it anymore. I have to add, the connecting part is partially made of rubber, so it seems kind of logical. But I still pay attention for any changes - just in case. The sink and running water are next to it anyway.
@decetre7 ай бұрын
Try adding in “the hard bits” last. Putting it in the bottom acts as a blocker when it really should increase speed.
@chocolatecat647 ай бұрын
Some fairly good advice, and as you say, it is always good to keep an eye on it. Though, please be careful with putting a burning blender in the sink (in a crisis) because water is very bad for electrical fires and won't put them out. Either way, stay safe, and I hope your blender keeps working well and doesn't explode
@wannabe5357 ай бұрын
@@chocolatecat64 Thank you. And you are absolutely right, electrical fires are quite different from normal ones. Maybe i should learn more about that topic. All the best for you as well.

If you enjoy meals that are just rice with stuff on top you should definitely try out Egyptian cuisine! A lot of dishes here are just a form of vegetable stew and a signature tomato sauce with cumin/corriander and onions and broth. Most of it can be easily adapted to be vegan if you swap out the broth for a flavorful vegetable one. Do look them up and I hope you enjoy it

for your latte pour!! start higher up to incorporate the milk into the espresso, let it settle, then from there you'll keep your mug tilted so you can essentially lay your foam/design on the top. don't forget to tap and swirl out bubbles - hope this helps!! I just had to share, I've been watching for years and adore you. My twin sister and I (both 30 lol) were talking about recipes and stuff and she was like there's this girl I watch on youtube who does vegan aesthetically pleasing videos and emphasis on living alone etc. I was like is it Mina? And she she was like no if I saw her I'd know and then the conversation drifted, and a day later she was like to me omg it is Mina! She thought you were French from your accent. Anyways, I guess we both have good taste. Just wanted to share. Lots of love x

If your blender smells burnt, it´s probably the motor that´s overheating, because it´s spinning too fast or it needs to be oiled. But if it´s old there are probably other things that could cause it... Just be careful while using it, it could start to actually burn - Then just tag the cable out of the power socket and let it be without touching the blender until it´s completely cool. Maybe you can treat yourself to a new blender and the old one can go to silicon heaven.

Some lovely, cozy recipes as always. I'm excited to try some of these. Thanks Mina! I know some other people have mentioned it, but the burning smell from the blender could be from a variety of issues. The best thing would probably be to contact the company who made the blender and ask them what to do. P.s. If a blender does actually start burning. If safe to do so, turn off the blender and step away. I wouldn't 100% advise this, but you can put it in an empty, DRY sink to prevent the fire from spreading quickly. Don't put water on it because electrical fires are very dangerous and it won't put out the fire. And obviously just call your emergency line if the fire is dangerous and/or uncontrolled. Disclaimer: I am not a firefighter (just want to promote safety) Regardless, I hope you can get your blender fixed, and that it's nothing super dangerous.

@Mina_Rome it's no trouble Mina, I just want you (and others) to be safe 🙂 (I didn't mean to scare anyone 🙃) I thought it was best to mention so you (or anyone else) don't get hurt by something like a faulty blender. (Better to be safe than sorry, right...?) Hopefully, it's not anything disastrous an electrical fire. It could be as simple as an old motor. I personally would have no idea. Regardless, I hope it was helpful and you can get it fixed without issues 😊 Stay safe, and enjoy the rest of your day/evening
