it’s called soul music because you can feel it in your SOUL, makes you emotional. there’s nothing quite like it.

Sadly Charles passed away in 2017. He was a struggling artist for a long time before we became well known. He has an amazing life story. This is one of my favorite songs Ozzy sings. Both evoke emotion. You will like the Mr. Jukes song Grant Green ft. Charles Bradley. The official Charles Bradley video for Changes is great. You will cry. You nailed it Charles started out impersonating and covering James Brown songs. You should check out Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Sharon was like the female James Brown (super soulful), she also recently passed away and was on the same label as Charles, Daptone Records. The Dap-Kings are the band behind a lot of Amy Winehouse's music. They gave her that iconic sound.

Charles Bradley was a diamond and every song he sang he put his heart and soul into it and that's why this man is on my to list to listen to cause he made many great songs that are just amazing and why is it so hard song he sang is one of my many favorites of him and I can't just choose one from him cause they mainly are all my favorites of him. Rip Charles Bradley and his music will never die but get better over the coming years, like fine wine it just gets better over the years while it ages.

I have seen this a few times. It was nice to see how moving you found it. This was a profoundly sad perfomance. What’s more, it was like a major league pitcher telling the batter what pitch he was going to throw and the batter still being unable to hit it. Charles Bradley told us it was going to be sad - and why - and still mopped the floor with our emotions.

You need to know a little more about his life. He grew up on the streets, no education. When he was getting prepared to do this he had a tutor teaching him to read. He was an amazing and extremely kind man. He deserved the success he had at the end of his life and so much more. I am glad he got to share his gift and got the love he richly deserved.
