Rinpoche's teachings are quite funny, expressing a certain deep humour, just love the way Rinpoche explains seemingly difficult terms with very simple examples like "bumpy road" regarding thoughts, emotions, the great dramas and wishful thinking in the coloured mind set - thank you!

Great appreciatefor the clip. He is truly wonderful. He is off into his special retreat. Actually, almost six months already from June 2011. He had prepared the talks and teaching so we can still benefit. Thank you very much. Pray for you to have a wonderful retreat and I will also pray for your health and no obstacle. Thank you.

heh heh heh.. guess what SisStar?... go 👀 >> L👀k >> in your nearest neighbor's eyes... not necessarily next door .. anybody who's feet reach the ground will do.. tall, short, fat, thin... macht nicht.. matters not... we are all...mmmmm... variations on a theme.... like beautiful music... and we make beautiful music through mutual cooperation... that's what this man is telling us... when we look in someone's eyes... we see ourselves... how can it be otherwise? Walk in Beauty ==>> Go in Peace ✌✨

Give yourself patience and love. You're doing well, and not a single second is wasted. We often overlook the shifts and changes in our ourselves. Notice them, smile at not only what you've done so far, but at the most important step: you've chosen to start! Blessings to you!

Agree with Nicola. when ur angry at someone who feels it first?? not the one ur directing it too but you. when you steal and are unsustainable, you only attract those people, and all the stress that comes with them. same if ur greedy ur always self conscious, always bothered about what others think; always looking for more. Heaven and hell are real only because we create them for our selves. This is why Buddhism works so well... Buddhism has a lot going for it, especially the part where you're meant to treat other people as if they were you. with the same understanding you allow ur self then i recon the world would become a lot better for a lot of people.

surrender your mind(thoughts)to your brain, lock brain to your body, body to awareness, awareness to sensation, sensation maybe like walking, be aware you are walking, awareness that you are walking is walking meditation, the essence of meditation is "awareness"

For Stephanie and others: Its not about bardo, hell and heaven. Buddhism, in particular the Buddhist philosophy, is about learning to tame the mind. Bardo, hell and heaven is happening in our lifetime, while we are alive, not after life. We create our hells, brimstones, and volcanoes of mind ourselves. So we can learn to tame all of those. The Buddha has said many times that he is not concerned about the after life, gods or metaphysical. Instead he is concerned about all of us learning to become better, kinder, tamer, more loving to all beings, more caring, more responsible, and all the good things.

Now this reminds me of the scene fr. The matrix where Neo says there is no spoon and he bends his head then the spoon also bends. So I guess it's like when he said that he became aware that there really is no spoon. his clear awareness let him see the ideas/programs floating before his mind...

this is really cool. And it doesn't really have anything to do with religion has it? I don't mean to be disrespectful but I don't think I could ever belong to any religion. But this I wanna do - it seems like the only thing to do when your mind and emotions are causing havoc anyways :)

But it is THEY who are so ATTACHED to SINNING by meditating on hurting other Life day to day they do the same thing over and over hurting Kashmir and America too. They continue their nonsense because people backrub them by touching their feet and dressing him with 3 flower garlands. They move their lips calling Bhakti my Bhakti is supreme and I am most Saintly. They distranslate all Scripture. They will not go unnoticed.

"Desire is to reach Nirvana". Clearly you don't 'get it" if you use the word desire. It is not about desiring at all, like Islam or Christianity.

I am not a fan of Buddhism and especially Tibetan Buddhism. Buddhism's greatest desire is to reach Nirvana - complete dissolution of the individual mind. Secondly Tibetan Buddhism seems obssessed with death and its discussion of Bardo states reminds me strongly of Christianity's discredited belief in a sterile heaven and a profoundly sadistic hell.
