Mind Scanners devices tips and tricks! (Spoilers)

Love the game - love the art style, reminds me a bit of Papers Please but with a creepier vibe. Favorite one is definitely Throatarizer. What a wild idea

Retina: Always press every button first after the second "blink" of a device at the very beginning, so it would be easier to know which symbols you have to fill in. Throatarizer: You can safely do one quarter at the beginning. Then follow the queues. Reflector: Not much to add. Move one pull until the whole screen is filled with letters and then use a second one to find a word or something that is close to a word. After a certain time, you will be able to guess what it is with just hints. Quaintifier: Just hold the button, it allows to see a "full picture" better and much faster. Sonar Sequencer: follow the sequence with the mouse and click when you hear longer pauses. At a certain point, after just one time you should be able to do it in one go. Not much to add here, to be honest. Lunasucker: This one I hate. It just has too few queues and the fast period is too random. Identetector: It seems that after the patch only one true symbol will be clear, so you can look for it. Good advice about the sound queue, but I am too used doing it by eyes at this point. De-stress Pulse: Usually not worth it, unless game artificially bumps up the stress and you aren't sure of yourself. Robotany: I guess it's pretty good for a Structure worker playthrought. Otherwise it's not worth it. Bonuses from the people are too good. Echopuncture: Good if you need to finish the last couple of unorganized symbols fast. Hypnamid: Takes a LOT of practice to be worth it. But, when you can do it perfectly it can save time, I guess. Generally not worth it. Mind Maze: The mazes are too tricky too navigate reliably, in my opinion. It's much faster to get an amount of personality back by using Identetector. But it's more like a personal preference. Knowledge Harvester: If you play the game perfectly, not sure that you'd ever need it. Unless you can somehow achieve B.L.I.S.S. with it.

To add to this- De-stress Pulse: When used alongside the Echopuncture, it can be a very nice combo to repeatedly and quickly get rid of 5 insanity points. Can be pretty risky though, as once the patient is at 5 stress, the timing gets tight. Hypnamid: Actually broken when combined with the drugs. It pauses *every* effect's timer, including the no-personality-loss pill, meaning if you're fast, you can go through several tools before the pill wears off. As a bonus, try popping the pill immediately after setting off the Hypnamid. If you do it right, the Hypnamid will actually come back online *before* the 40 time limit is up on the pill; meaning you can prolong the same pill twice. Went through the entire game without ever needing the Identetector after that.

Don't forget you can use the mind maze after the personality is already gone, seems like it's fine as long as it's in the same treatment session, so you can just ignore personality it until the last moment before ending the treatment. (Not sure if there's also a timer on it though.)

loved the game, the sci-fi like story got me hooked up until the end but that thing, that module lunasucker, damn i hate that thing, never knew for sure when the little mointains where at full movement speed, so frustrating, and the game even told me that my favorite module was lunasucker >:C the game is top notch, already recommended to some friends

You can't infinitely prolong the timer since the hypnamid has a cool down, but you can prolong the timer for longer than you spend using the hypnamid.

Bro I want to not upset moonrise but if U have someone with like over 10 thingies then it's literally impossible to not erase their personality. How are you meant to help people without removing their personality so I can be good with moonrise?? I have to declare everyone as sane and I don't want to.

Look for the tool called the Identetector, it restores 2 personality when used right, you just have to be sure to not let the personality bar get empty before using it (aka use it at 1 personality point or more remaining)

There's a machine that brings personality back, and there's a drug that "freezes" personality for a while. I'm on my first run, I'm trying to do easier cases first in order to have enough points to create enough of the drug for the patients with more symbols
