what if you can't breathe through your nose? what about when the panic sets in and you can't stop breathing in to let any CO2 out? this does not help me 1 bit, a shame I had high hopes too. I need something that works in the most extreme circumstances, any advice?

Hi Bee, What stops you from breathing through your nose? At times during high levels of panic it is very common to feel like you cannot take a breath. Scary huh? Be gentle and kind with yourself - thoughts are very important when the panic sets in, too. It can help calm your breathing. Keep practicing when you are your best self and in the right mind. In time, you will create a pathway for your brain to go, where it’s more relaxed and ready to fight off the panic. Remember, your body is trying to keep you safe. As unhelpful as it seems at the time, remember this. Be kind to yourself. You’re doing your best in the moment ❤

@@Nath23N Thank you for replying.... nose was broken as a small child, 1 side almost fully blocked and the other side has reduced flow as well. The panic attacks were totally new for me and I still don't cope but I haven't had 1 since going back on meds I was on that when I stopped let the panic attacks happen, start the meds again, no more panic attacks. Find what works and stick with it seems reasonable enough!!! Merry Christmas, hope you have a great one!!
