This is actually my first session back post op! In this session, I share my recent discovery of a book called 'Zen: The Art of Simple Living' by Shunmyo Masuno. Thank you Shunmyo for sharing your wisdom with us. I hadn't planned on referring to the book but something came up after our first meditation and share, which linked so nicely to the section I shared with the group. I talk about this at the beginning of the session and the meditation starts at about 6 minutes in, if you wanted to head straight there.
So our meditation is about, when we feel scattered, overwhelmed, full to the brim, to then practice discarding what you don't need - an object, a task, a thought - to make space.
