I made it on multi i had trouble as the timing is to perfect i had to put 50 dirt instead of 45 in the double hopper clock to compensate lag cause hopper would unlock just before the potion finish to brew

I'm not sure what I did wrong. The hoppers are taking every item including the named dirt. Someone else in the comments said they were having the same issue and fixed it by adding redstone torches to some blocks but didn't answer which blocks, so I don't know how to fix it. Edit. Found where the redstone torches were missing. I only placed the one at 26:36 and none of the other ones, but now I'm having the same problem as the other person in that same comment thread, now the hopper is not taking any item, not even the ingredients... Edit2: after messing around for a bit it would seem like those redstone torches are making the hoppers lock themselves. When I remove those torches the items go through up to the droppers, but again, all items go through, not just the ingredients. The items never get to the barrel, not sure if that's intended. I'm at a loss here and that's the only thing missing for it to work :( Edit 3: I finally found my mistake. Comparators were backwards...

Building this thing was quite the undertaking. I screwed up somewhere along the line and it just didn't work. Due to the compact nature I couldn't find the issue so I tore down the whole brew station portion and rebuilt it and it works fine now. For the first few potions it was giving too many ingredients but I think that was from items being dropped into the barrel but not getting picked up so the hopper minecart was grabbing all the extras. I cleaned out the barrels and it works all good now. If your Potion light is staying on and not resetting make sure you have the repeater at the far end, I was missing mine for some reason so it wouldn't reset after brewing or using the reset button.

Amazing build! I love it! To people wanting to build this, it works brilliantly if you pay close attention to everything K1 says however I encountered an issue where the piston that sets off the ingredients part was to quick and wouldn't let the other piston release the minecart. Fortunately it was an easy fix, all I did was build a little staircase for some redstone and had a repeater on 2 ticks running into the piston and it works brilliantly 👏

I love this. I have made the previous version multiple times and am ready to make this one. I actually tried to convert it into a 1 button mega brewing station. It was fun to make but very frustrating at the same time. The only problem I have come across is getting the ingredients to go in the correct order all the time. Sometimes they get added in the incorrect order. Anyway. Love your work. Keep it up.

The dragons breath and gunpowder are swapped, the gunpowder is for splash and the breath for lingering, very good system though, appreciate it.

Looks great, and for the first few potions it's fine, but then all of a sudden it stopped adding water bottles to the brewing stand.....1.20.1 Java....can't find what's gone wrong.... Also, unless i missed something, what's the right hand dropper at the brewing stand supposed to do? Add Blaze powder? if so, this was not explained, and it does not add the stuff when I load it up.

okay so i did everything like it is in the video, but for some reason, when i put stuff into the hoppers of the item sorting system, everything gets pulled out of the hopper, both the items i want in there as well as the items to block the empty slots. i have no idea why it's doing that Java Edition, 1.20.4, playing on a server with a bunch of datapacks and plugins Edit: i found my mistake, i had redstone torches where they weren't supposed to be

You only need gunpowder for splash. Dragons breath for lingering.

@@arnavawesomeplayz5956 It is really difficult to directly change a java redstone build to a bedrock redstone build. For example nothing that uses one tick sticky pistons will work on bedrock and you need to make an entirely different circuit.

doing this right now for VH as well, and realised OMG the size of this thing is larger than my starter base and i want to move. no, not anymore. took me two days to build this. I like it, but now i have two ingredient spots free and i'm not sure how. everything perfectly fits and lines up so huh? TBH i only wanted a decent auto Speed and Night vision 2 station, this is Overkill as i like to run with NV and Speed II for starting out. probably will just make a dedicated station for this. but the redstone for the process i should be able to adapt for that so one click and both potions start brewing up. the hopper lock for the brewing station is what i was missing.

Great tutorial! I ran into one issue that my ptoions would be pulled out of the brewing stand before the last item could brew. If anyone else has thsi issue all you need to do is add an extra block or 2 to the hoppers beside the watershoot for the item sorter.

No the Redstone would power the other lines, but you could try observers instead

So I’m needing some help… the dropper that’s suppose to put the bottles in isn’t being powered to actually make the bottles go in the brewing stand and sometimes stuff just falls right out into the chest and tho hoppper below isn’t being locked if someone has a fix that would be awesome! Edit: the dispenser constantly goes off and won’t stop going off…

Is there a fix for the hopper under the brewingstand to stop picking up waterbottles so that it can complete the brews ? whenever I try to make a potion, it tryes to put 8-12 water bottles in the brewingstand, but the hopper below it picks it up straight away, so my potion is not made.

Hey, K1, amazing system, i have a request though. The system has problems with potions with more than 5 ingredients because a hopper minecart can only store 5 items. Would it be possible for you to show how to modify the system to fix this? Maybe have the minecart go a second time. Thanks, hope you see this

I'm a little late, found this design very recently, but I've found a really simple solution for your problem. All you need is one detector rail, one comparator, one repeater, one dust and one redstone torch. You gotta place them next to where the minecart rests. When the minecart delivers the 5 ingredients, it'll pick up the remaining item on the way back. Then once the cart passes the detector rail, the comparator will notice that the minecart isn't empty and send a signal to retract the piston, sending the cart on a second round.

is there anyway possible to use less the 42 items in the hopper filter. Its a bit high for some of them, like ghast tears and such. Does it have to do with timing if not can you tell me how to change it to a lower amount. thanks man works great. Love the way you explain stuff.

so I'm an going to answer my own question here. I placed 4 x 10 stacks of renamed dirt in the hopper and 5 of the item I wanted to filter and it seems to work that way. This maybe an option for the folks having a hard time getting some of the items. I know ghast tears weren't easy to get what I got. I did 5 items to be safe but I tried it with 4 x 11 stacks of renamed Dirt and 1 item and it worked too. I just didn't want the item to fall thru and mess it up so I went with 5.

@@wastedwanderer420 im still at the start of the vid and im assuming it's just the standard way of sorting but, i have been using 4x11 stacks of renamed bamboo in my sorting building for a while now with no issues. the only thing to watch for is if you are sorting items that don't stack all the way to 64, you need less renamed filter items. for an item that stacks to 16 like signs, because it only has quarter of the stack size as most items it takes less signs to fill a higher percentage of the hopper. in other words 1 sign is valued the same as 4 items that stack to 64. so in this case i had to do 3x10 + 1x11 stacks of renamed bamboo

Hopefully somebody could help me. I finished the build all the buttons work well except the start potion button. I click it, it makes all the piston sounds and what not but the hopper minecart does not seem to be moving, ive been switching between K1's world and mine to see if i missed anything but i cant seem to see that i have, any chance anybody knows what could be the issue? I hate to give any K1 video the thumbs down. However, this super complex build is way too compact. The hopper that the brewing stand was on was not locked. I could not troubleshoot this (as I usually can) because I couldn’t even see the hopper due to all of the redstone in the way!! There goes two days of work down the drain.

Love this machine, ive builded it on a public server, had it out of order for a few weeks, found what caused the error today, was simple fix, but now i get a headache, cause it wont give redstone in some potions or most actually, and some potions are wrong ingrediens, and in most cases, it gives like 2 nether warts, 4 fermented spider eyes etc, no idea how to fix that Yeah, and the light of the potion i chose, wont go off after the potion is made or I abort the whole operation.

@@K1Inc It was not the design, was only my own mistake, I found what caused it all to mess up today, and now the machine works 100% no errors or anything, perfect! As I pointed out in my last msg, the light would not go off after it was made or reset. So i hooked on a lever to have the reset button on constantly, and I found out that I must have moved the whole structure 1 block further than in your specifications or placed a repater wrong somewhere, cause the redstone under the lights/buttons did not strech to the end as it supposed to do, so I added a extra repeater in the start of the redstone, and BAM! the miracle machine started working as it should! Thanks alot for this creation! :) And your reply :) In a public server 1.18.2 java :)

i think so. i took out the repeater the torch feeds, put a block towards front panel and run a piece of redstone to the line above the lamps, you will have to add a repeater first block to the right facing the front to reach all the way down to the end. this worked for me, not sure how well i explained that. also remove the observer block and the block in front of it, thats where the repeater goes to feed the long redstone line.

Just a heads up to builders. While that list includes much of what is used in the build it definitely doesn't include everything. For instance there are no blocks, chests, or barrels in the list but the build requires quite a few of them all.

Well as for the Chest and Barrels I did not include it in the image but it was included on the list on the left side of the image, and as for the blocks I did not include it in the list because everyone tends to change that for the most part.

He encontrado una solución debido a que en la 1.16.5 la vagoneta con tolva no puede extraer ítems de un barril, he remplazado la línea de barriles de los cuales debe extraer los ítems la vagoneta, por trampillas de hierro y se ha solucionado… muchas gracias por este increíble diseño, dejaré mi like y me subscribo al canal. 👍🏻

Haven’t had the time to but looking up main differences with Java and bedrock redstone seems mainly around the way pistons activate or at least sticky pistons holding onto block when activated rapidly. Java will leave the block pushed where bedrock will keep ahold of it but I’m not sure if this system uses a lot of that mechanic
