Gotta love the mini mate !! Such an amazing and spacious pop up camper. I have to confess that I never expected to see the pool noodle hack being using on a mini mate Wayne ! Damn …. you surprised buddy. Even more impressive is the fact you improved the hack adding a second purpose to it (to hold the lid to allow you to open the door without applying weight to it) Very nice and helpful video my friend. Cheers, Eddie

@SpyderWayne5 ай бұрын
@magnusb6311 It's out the door payment to Kompact Kamp, which is in Pennsylvania. I live in New York State, so there was no tax on my billing. I had to pay the sales tax separately to NY State DMV, when I registered the camper.
@magnusb63115 ай бұрын
@@SpyderWayne ah yes that’s how it works there. Oh so you even pay it to the DMV. We are lucky in Sweden that we don’t have property tax on vehicles and MC trailers don’t even need a license plate but we are more restricted on weight and width

How does it do in the wind and rain?
@SpyderWayne2 жыл бұрын
It holds up much better than any tent I've ever camped in. The canvas quality is excellent, no leaks at all through 2 seasons so far. The camper will wiggle some when it's really windy, but again much sturdier than any tent I've had. The add-a-room doesn't have a floor so you don't want to store gear on the ground that you don't want to get wet as water can flow into the add-a-room area, I have a fold up 2'x5' table I use in my add-a-room that I use to keep gear off the ground.
