How do you know when it’s ready to be repotted? Do you have a video on how you repot the mini monstera?
@plantvibrations Жыл бұрын
The best way to tell is to lift it out of the pot and if it easily comes out with a single solid root ball then it’s time to repot. If it isn’t filling the pot or leaves a lot of soil in the container when you pull out the roots, then it’s not ready

I know this video is old, but I recently transplated cuttings of this plant into soil and shortly after doing so, the leaves turned yellow, and now I have two bare stalks😢. Will new leaves emerge?
@plantvibrations7 ай бұрын
how robust were the roots of the cuttings? they should be pretty hefty and then transplanted to a small container. leaves turning yellow sounds like they were either not able to bring water to the foliage due to lack of roots and/or overly moist soil cause them to suffocate due to lack of oxygen in soil
@RinirocksArtistry7 ай бұрын

Hi! Cut it into 8” section, and place the lower four inches of each section in water and propagate them. That’s the best thing to do
@sunkyungberg Жыл бұрын
So when I cut to propagate, does the cut stem in the original plant grow anything after or is it done for? I have just a single stem and have cup to propagate, but wish the original one was still growing 😢

How many days before you change the water in water propagation? And where do you place it?
@plantvibrations2 жыл бұрын
I really don’t ever change the water but will top it off with more water maybe once every two weeks. Anywhere that is warm is a good place to put it. They don’t need bright light while forming roots

I’ve tried propagating my Raphi but no progress for weeks now. 2 in water 2 in sphagnum and 1 top cutting. roots aren’t growing on the single leaf nodes in either prop method. The top cutting is the only one with progress. I’ve noticed the top cutting areal root was nice and green and this is the only one growing. The other’s have callused roots. Should i scrape the callus off the root to expose the root underneath and then try again?

hi. maybe you can send me some pictures via instagram, im having a hard time visualizing what you mean exactly.
@asiasiowa.47372 жыл бұрын
Sometimes raphidophora need really long time to start rooting. If you want a bit faster I would recommend put cutting of epipremnum. It will give growing hormones to the water or also you can use supertrive which helping with roots development too
