This is absolutely incredible. Wondering if you have more details on the VTX antenna. Picture quality looks impeccable

Great editing, what vtx and antenna for ground and air did you use here, your video reception was so amazing

Thanks for posting this. Do you know what the take-off was with the big battery?

Can you share your ground station setup and layout when you fly.

Another more impressive flight. The performance of the r9mm surprises me. Any video tutorial on how to tunning the antenna?

Thanks! I got the dipoles already tuned to 915mhz from prodrone.pl Go try visit their site. I got my 1.280ghz tuned dipole VTX antennas from them also.

Impressive from the tiny R9MM reciever..the cheapo 10 dollar reciever lol..I use the True Mox 868 TX antenna, not so keen on the dipole that comes with the R9MM though...So, your battery setup is 2 X 4S in parallel..?..18650 cells?
@MyRazerZone4 жыл бұрын
Yes it also surprised me. I can only go 20km on this R9mm before. I just changed the antenna to a tuned dipole from prodrone.pl and the range improved significantly. Battery for this flight is a single pack 4S3P 9600mah Li-ion 18650 cells. I've also made my 6400mah 4S2P Li-ion converted to 6S2P. Will be uploading the flight test video later. 😉

@@MyRazerZone Yes thanks for the info, I may try Prozone, their products look pretty good and shipping is close for me. What brand cells do you use?🤔🤔😎

Dude where are you getting R9mm RX's for 10 bucks??

Nice! I just built a mini skyhunter FPV set up but its still running on an 800mw 5.8ghz transmitter and Im waiting on the cells for my liion pack... What output power did you have your R9M running on?

I have the R9 (915mhz) on AUTO power (>1W)

For long range do you like the Mini Talon or the Reptile S1100 harrier? I saw you flew 40 km out with the reptile and that is awesome!
@MyRazerZone4 жыл бұрын
Still the Mini Talon wins for Long Range because of the capability to carry big batteries. I still love my S1100 but I kinda messed it up. I've put a bigger motor and bigger battery (now heavy at 2kg) and it flew very bad if flown slow. It now wants to be flown fast. I'll be trying to lighten her up and fly her again soon.

MyRazerZone Do you laminate your Mini Talon, Reptile Harrier, or Mini Skyhunter? Thanks.
@MyRazerZone4 жыл бұрын
@@horsship no I don't laminate. But I use some fiber tape and clear packing tape on the wings and under belly of the fuselage for some protection. I also got some colored wing tape from HK.

MyRazerZone Ok. Thanks!

That engine comes for 5-6S. Does it work well and is it efficient at 4S? Which plane do you consider best for long range, this one or the MT? Thanks.
@MyRazerZone4 жыл бұрын
Yes it works well with 4S. I think it will be better efficiency with a higher pitch prop like 9X8 or 9X9. I love the mini talon more. Can carry big batteries and much easier to access the inside like the flight controller. In efficiency I think they are equal. Long Range the Mini Talon wins because of the big battery. On the looks, The Mini Skyhunter looks amazing in the air 😁

Nice flight! This is onboard dvr or ground? Also this is mission or full controlled flight?
@MyRazerZone4 жыл бұрын
Hi! Sorry for the late reply. Its a controlled flight using CRUS and RTL modes. Video is from dvr on groundstation.

Do you go by the rule. Every 1000meter out is 100 meter high?? So 2000 meters out is 200 meter high..

Not really with my setup (1.2ghz video with patch antenna on the VRX)

Mini talon or mini sky hunter?
@MyRazerZone4 жыл бұрын
Still thw mini talon wins for long range and weight carrying capability. Include also the accessibility of electronics. On the mini skyhunter you still need to unscrew the wings to access the flight controller etc. But it is equally fun to fly and I have to admit that it looks better in the air than the mini talon.
