zone of inhibition is just the diameter of the clear spot made on the plate and can be used to compare efficacy of the antimicrobal agent a larger zone means its likely more effective than the smaller zone

Thankyou for clear explanation. Is that a control media in your left hand? i was mistaken about phrase of negative control. In my thought, negative control was consist of media and bacterial suspension. So it would showed a turbid, because there is no inhibition in there.
