Minimalism is all about simplicity. My husband and I have optimized every square foot of our small house. I’ll show you how a minimalist mindset, minimalist habits, and minimalist living helped us clear out clutter while I talk about why I love minimalism and why be a minimalist. I throw in some small house tips and small house design ideas too!

Love this Britt- except where is the laundry?! ;) We lived in "the big house" and I often felt like it was sucking the life out of me. We did a drastic downsize after 3/5 kids moved out/went to college and then found/bought a 450 sq ft cottage on the ocean as our summer tiny house. It brings me far more joy and we are forced to live very simply with no room for "stuff." My kids dubbed it Mom's Happy Place- so true. Wish I had skipped the big house and all the stuff that went with it, but 5 kids take up room too. Simple~ wins! Thx for sharing your adorable minimalist home and lifestyle!

I love videos like this. It reminds me how bigger isn't better and to stick to my guns when I feel ashamed because everyone around me has huge homes. We have a 1100 sq ft home and are minimalist and got it because sometimes less is more and I'm happy with it until I see huge aesthetic social media homes
