It's saved on the device and if it's connected then it syncs into the Astrohaus cloud and the cloud of your choice like Dropbox. You can then also store it on a flash drive.

Hello Janine, your work is stored on the built-in flash memory and is backed up your own account within Postbox when you enable wifi. Your work can also be synced to Google Drive, Dropbox, and Evernote. However, there is no external flash drive saving option. The Smart Typewriter is $650 and the more portable Traveler model is $499. Thank you and happy writing!

Sounds like it helps him big time and yes pastors, apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers and preachers are under a time crunch. Sometimes getting what the Holy Spirit wants to say through you while, writing, speaking, etc., is time critical. It can be really rough especially on Sunday.
