I know this is an old video but you've helped me immensely! I got this as a gift and since I've never crocheted before, I was so afraid of messing it up so I avoided it for ages. Hello, I too have the kit, but as I’ve learned from the past, the yarns in these boxes are below my standard to make… so I throw away the yarns & use any yarn of the same weight, I have in my stash & use my own hooks, needles etc… so the pattern is my single reason to buy… I bought this pattern when on sale for £1.30 ish because my mum loves minions, so i will make this with some alterations for her as a surprise gift… Am using chunky yarn & 8 mm hook so its like a cushion thank you the video… from one fellow crochet xxx

That's A good idea - especially as you got it half price. I defiantly wish the yarn was better quality - it might encourage more people to continue crocheting - but they make it so hard. Good luck with ur Jumbo make hehe xx

hi I miss row 10 of the head so only did 54 STS, and asked my mum who's a knitter not a crocheter which to stop at dungarees and suggested 10 60 sts but dungarees look too wee for the body/head esp odd numbers help be much appreciated thank you.

Hi - thats ok, we all have to start somewhere. I would suggest going to watch some crochet for beginner videos on KZbin first - just till you get the hang of it :)
