@@ameliacharles2284 I’m 45, and I went to my first concert 1993 to see Nirvana for my 14th birthday. In my life, I’ve seen pig face, gwar, hard-core bands, like hatebreed and integrity, i’ve seen Front 242 and 9 inch nails and everything in between, and nothing will prepare you for the wall sound that is ministry live. I have tinnitus my left ear, and while I like to assume it’s 30+ years of listening to live music and 15+ years of being a roadie, it’s more likely simply because of a Tuesday night in Texas.

Yeah, NIN was heavy influence by Ministry.... and Ministry was at the beginning a snythpop project, until Al Jourgensen found a canadian band called "Skinny Puppy", the fathers of modern industrial past "Throbbing Gristle" and early stuff like that. If you want to go down that road, I would suggest "Smothered hope" from Skinny Puppy for a start. They are an awesome live band with an almost performance art show but I would stick to the studio versions for the beginning.

Depending on when that footage was taken, I do believe that is Bill Rieflin on drums. Bill played with so many big industrial acts. KMFDM, NIN, Ministry, and Pigface. He also has played for R.E.M and King Crimson, and as a session musician, Robbie Williams and Taylor Swift. Bill was a monster on the drums, with absolutely incredible timing.

Rey Washam (scratch Acid, Rapeman) played this tour and most of the Filth Pig album, but the original album recording of Thieves is most probably Rieflin.
