Quite a traditional situation. Feels like everyone plays with default 100x100px map without any icons and signatures so they always have awful situational awareness. And never react to callouts (i.e. "look their entire team on A just push C and encircle them" = no reaction). Often team fails to push weak flank and afraid of going in while enemy team just steamrolls other flank causing huge losses at the very beginning. Especially fun when you're just with 1 or 2 other ships here and try to fall back and survive for entire round. I had these matches so often recently its just not fun to play at all. Feels like you're surrounded with bots. Add a super-CV or sub that targets you on that weak flank and is better to just quit and play something else

In WoT the russian slang for an artillery shell is "a suitcase". Since BBs are pretty much mobile artillery, you could say they "deliver" a lot of those "suitcases".

Hey Flamu, I have a slightly different question. It's about the replay function of WoWs. I can't detach the camera from the ship. I press CTRL+ SHIFT+ BACKSPACE, there is a beep but nothing happens. Even if I then press LMB still not. I thought I was just too stupid for this, but you know, it comes from WG so you can doubt their programming skills as well. Would be cool if you (or someone else) could help me with this. keep going! thanks

That GK did pretty good given the circumstances, he kited away on the weak flank, survived the game with all heals used on 12k HP, and slowed the push on that side. Sometimes you have to go long range, especially when that low and a CV able to finish you off. You could still see volleys coming in from it on the columbo.

I think (as I would) flamu asked what HP the GK was on, if it was 50%+ he would have called him a potato, but given he didn't say anything I think he gave him the benefit of the doubt that he probably was playing fine. One salvo from the columbo with sap into GKs superstructure could kill it with 12k hp so the GK can outrange columbo so might as well play outside it's range

can someone explain what flamu meant when he was looking at the shima at the very beginning of the video? he said something like "17.9 shima". was he talking about win rate or something else? also, david attenborough is a fantastic name

It is not running the "Survivability Expert" Captain skill, which most players do run on DD's. 17.9 is referring to the 17,900 hit points, which is the Shima's base/stock health pool.

About your question for the CV - Because it's not a ship but a floating airbase. That's the main reason conventional warships moved from guns to rockets and missiles and BB's, BC's and most of the cruisers were scrapper as a concept. Wonder how far away we are in the game to see the introduction of Corvets and modern Frigates since we already have 1950's ships...

I know the player count would tank, but you should have to take a literacy test, to be able to play. Also be able to prove you know where and what the minimap is. I know thats only part of the problem though....

I have such teams in currently 80 percent of the game my winrate goes down and even my PR because i still think people will do something. But to be honest War Gaming trains those guys like this because normaly you face CV und Submarines so many start to play always really passiv and at one point the suizide.

This what annoys me the most. Like say the main bulk of the enemy fleet is pushing A. And only 1-3 enemy ships on C and your team's main force is on C. Now the logic should be that if you are in A. Just kite away and shoot. You can neither win that battle head on nor cap A. But majority of players Will in fact push and die and blame you for not helping apparently. And then, your team's main force on C against 1-3 ships are so afraid to push until they realize its too late and your side is losing heavily. Even worse when people in division just stick to each other not helping to win the match at all. Specially tier X dd's.

And you play 8km torps, which puts you at a even higher risk with all the CV spotting, sub spotting and radars at tier 10, you can and will absolutely lose hp. Now, tell me why you don't need a 20% hp increase.
