Could we get a 1 year update? I'm getting the exact ones for my CR-Z

Thank you for your question! I've had absolutely no problems at all - the purchase is still worth every penny.! A good tip is to clean off any old neverseize off the hub lip as it can build up and make some rims stick a bit.

I see in your notes you mentioned using the kit for 2010-2014 CR-Z. Any particular reason you went with that kit vs. the one made for a 10th Gen Civic Sedan - 3065640? Assuming you wanted DRM vs. DRS and the 15mm 10th Gen options were only DRS. Thanks for the great content!

You hit the nail right on the head! The only 15mm option I could find was DRS style. Glad you enjoyed the vid! 🙂

When torquing the lug nuts on the wheels comes summer time here in Canada, is it ok to use an impact wrench or should you always torque with a torque wrench? My dad wanted to help me out by installing my summer tires last weekend and I know he always install his tires with an impact wrench and never follow the sequence to torque the lug nuts.. I might need to redo the whole job

In a pinch, using an ugga-dugga isnt the worst thing you can do. Most impacts won't damage things as long as you dont overdo it. Using a torque wrench or impact torque sticks are definitely better practice though.

@@RicksGarage I tried to check the torque on the nuts after with a torque wrench set at 80ft.-lb and it didn't even move a millionth millimeter lol... It might be way overtorquered which is my concerned, is it bad for the rotors or anything else?
@RicksGarage3 жыл бұрын
@@josephl9931 @Jo Jo true - it might be way over torqued or it might be just a little over torqued. It puts some strain on the wheel studs but you should probably be okay as long as your dad didn't really lean on it with the gun. If it's a concern, definitely loosen and retorque the lugs for some piece of mind

I'm planning on using this exact part number on my 2008 Acura TL Type...see any issues? The TL is 5/114.3 CENTER BORE 64.1 STUD THREAD 12×1.5 so should be fine I'd think

I don't think you'll run into any problems. Honda can be quite interchangeable.

@@RicksGarage Yea me either, I'm on Tein Flex Z's and the standard type s waffle wheels that DO have the bolt reliefs on the back of the wheels. And I for sure prefer the easier DRM option. Have read to torque 80-90, was going back and forth from 15 or 20mm, but decided 15 like those in the vid!

Super scared to run spacers because seen people have them snap on them while driving
@RicksGarage3 жыл бұрын
Standard spacers (without studs) can be a little sketchy for sure. Depending on how much space you're hoping to gain, consider replacing your oem wheel studs with something from ARP (or the like) for a little extra strength and piece of mind!

Hello Rick, sorry to bother you so much… 🤣… but, Did you need the spacers for the factory rims?
@RicksGarage3 жыл бұрын
No bother at all - unfortunately, yes, even the factory rims would need the spacers. The wilwood kit covered pretty much the entire lip of the hub
