I got them used from a low mileage stock motor. They’re hard to find now days

Why did u use grease

Is an easy way to make sure the pump primes as soon as you turn the engine over. It will slurp the oil. If there’s nothing between the oil pump gears. You’re gonna have trouble trying to prime it. I let the car get to temp and change the oil.
