Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Review: Is it any good off-road?

I own one of these, and he's got a few things wrong, like others mentioned the auto park brake (you can set auto or manual activation etc.), paddle shifters are great for terrain like sand for better control of momentum and torque. PS: the wheel arch shapes are deliberate, and help push water away from the vehicle during water crossings... oh and the bonnet/hood release is in the normal spot like most vehicles - the driver's kick panel near the door jam. Turning circle is class leading in most markets by like 30-60 cms too.

4:29 if you hold down (or up) the electronic parking brake, it will display if you have the automatic parking brake option on or off in the insfrument cluste. Nice video!

Here in Australia I drive a 2019 5 seat version. Absolutely love it, never get tired of driving it, and as you remarked you need to keep you eyes on the speedo as it does tend to drive faster than you think you're travelling. However at R700 000 i.e. ~AUD70 000, it is damn expensive compared to what we pay for it.

Same here, I have the same yr, it's perfectly proportion for off road and city, but the thing that sets it apart is 4H . My families drive only Mitsu and Nissan. Nissan and Mitsubishi gets a bad rep especially from this old Scotty KZbinr he thinks he knows it all but he probably has own these 2 brands in his life

This is the only car review that I don’t get to see the engine. That aside, the plus point of the Pajero Sport is it’s Super Select where none of its competitor has and was a pity that you didn’t give it due justice by not giving more info on the Super Select main advantage over its rivals.

I have a 2020 QF Pajero Sport and my handbrake (park brake) engages automatically when Park is selected, and automatically disengages when Drive is selected.

I have a 2019 shogun sport (English version) I absolutely love the car, and I have just found mitsubishi have stopped selling new cars in the UK. I'm gutted I will not be able another shogun sport

With regards to the rear styling, it isn't (arguably) ugly because they gave up, it's because the car is essentially a Triton Ute with an SUV body stuck on it

We got this over the fortuner, pajero sport is much better in all aspects aside from the size, it's just a tad bit narrower in terms of cabin width. Also the newer 4x4 fortuners comes with factory rear diff lock in my country, which is one draw back of the pajero sport.

@@brucezhan208 I had drive test, not bad , more expensive of course. I just like Pajero, before I had Navara. I have 10 years warranty and few months on have no problems whatsoever. Apart from that not big fan of Toyota rear end.

@@brucezhan208 Reliable no. The Pajeros have a bullet proof engine and gearbox, and one of the only vehicles that offers transmission cooling (great for towing). Oh and a 10 YEAR warranty. Clearly Mitsu believes in its reliability...

Shawn, bull shit the park brake cancels when you start driving, tested it yesterdy...even the automatic stopfunction engages and disengage automatically..
