hello Doc, I know it's suppose to be easy but i'm having trouble mapping midi and getting sound output for my videos in serato...what am I doing wrong :-[

Hi, are you trying to output the sound from the videos in MixEmergency or from Serato itself? For MIDI mapping, just click on the MIDI button in MixEmergency. The interface will turn red, then click on the red area button or trigger you'd like to map, make sure "Learn New Control" is highlighted and then touch the button/knob/fader on your MIDI controller to map.

DocOptic I'm getting movement...for instance if I go right on the crossfader it goes left instead

DJ PC When you're mapping MIDI try clicking on the "Advanced" checkbox and then choosing INVERT.

Seems as though I’m 3 yrs late!! Lol but I’m just getting n2 video mixing etc and I really just wanted to use this program for a live video feed for the dance floor. Am I able to purchase any wifi he camera and link it?? Or does it have to be a specific camera that goes into your laptop via usb connection??

Hi Doc, I have a MBP 2012 15" i7 8gb Ram With NVidia 650m 1 gb and my video output is really choppy and bad what Am I doing wrong.

Wallace Mwaura Hi, you should look into the re-encoding your video files using the HAP codec to allow for the GPU acceleration to improve performance of video playback. The causes for choppy playback are usually due to highly compressed formats such as H.264.
