Mixing & Applying Henna to Natural Hair | Step by Step Tutorial

I do a henna treatment on my natural hair once a year to get a lasting and vibrant red tint without damaging my curls. ❤️ Henna is great for infrequent use, but can loosen your curls if you use it too often!
Please note: NEVER use "black henna" because it is not natural and can cause serious negative reactions on your skin.

Hey! Great video! I was looking into putting henna in my hair but i have black/brown hair. What was your hair color prior to starting your henna journey? And how long did it take for you to achieve the red color? Thank you!

My hair is naturally dark brown and it took the henna from first use. You can apply it more frequently to develop a more vibrant red color. Personally I'd recommend no more than 4 times a year bc henna has the potential to loosen/damage your curl pattern, but I've seen others who use it as often as once a month.

But add aloe vera prefer to make henna more moisturizing. 😜
