My boss got himself one of these standing/sitting desks as he suffers from a bad back and sometimes finds it impossible to sit, so the minute you got it out of the box I knew what it was. Great job, Nick!

Yes, yes he does, doesn't he?! 😁 ....not sure if I'll still be the only one who after reading your comment with using the slang term “cheeky”, has me wondering when and how that term came to be. Why? Because one can, of course!! Plus, one never knows if it will only lead to not being able to find much information on the topic and stumble accrossed another of the discovered internet's link-rot links. 🤷🏼♀️😁

I'll admit I was a bit skeptical of the 'Laying the bandanas flat' plan as I remember the one you did with all the handkerchiefs where it was the scrunched up area that looked the coolest ... but that grinding technique blew me away! Wow! Love the table top 👌 is hella awesome!

Have to admit that when you started laying out the bandanas in the beginning, I thought "this is going to be ugly", even though you had prepared it was going to be special. Wasn't convinced until you started with the sander, and then saw the vision. Considering bandanas in themselves are pretty ordinary, you have come up with a extraordinary result

I recently got an adjustable table for my art table exactly because I have a bad back and sometimes I need to sit but other times I just can’t and need to stand. It’s AMAZING! SO glad I got it! Before I could only work for maybe an hour before I needed to take a break or call it quits for 12 hours because the pain was so bad. Now I can work on projects for 3-4 hours straight. And the table is new, I might be able to build up to working longer. It’s also been great for when I’m working on really small, detailed stuff. Instead of bending down to the table, I just raise the project up to my eyes. One of the best things I’ve ever bought. Especially as a disabled artist.

The finished desk brought an image of the late sixties to me surrounded by some stoned hippies watching the desktop raise and lower saying things like "Groovy Man" and "Totally Psychedelic, dude", while being blown out of their mellowed minds. And no, I was too young and too goodie two shoes, to have experienced any of that personally. I have seen friends high though.
