Your right m5 is nasty stuff,i haven't had any real issue with my application, but your using it as fuel source 100%undiluted?... when I make boost juice with it I have to add a splash of marvel oil to cut down on the caustic Ness. Don't see why you could do the same thing. 🤔🤷‍♂️💻📚😅 best of luck with karting👊😎

Hi mate great video , quick question i just fitted my aem wmi kit same as your video and went to order some vp m1 and have been sent the m5 instead as m1 was out of stock , reading online it says not to be used with wmi kits and it doesn't mix well will water as it has additive oils that separate and mix goes cloudy etc , is the okay to use I didnt want to ruin anything ..thankyou

I have mixed and ran m5 with out any problems for awhile now. I would definitely add alittle marvel mystery oil to the mix to help reduce the causticness of m5. Also i wouldn't leave it your tank for say 6 or 7 month with out use lol I would drain it if I knew the car was gonna sit for awhile. But on something that is daily ish beaten your fine. I'm assuming you use quite a bit of meth if your mixing your own... you can try torco fuels also if vp is permanently out of m1

Have you tried to just run m5 straight? I run m1 and been thinking of the idea of running m5. I have a custom meth kit with a custom port meth set up so each cylinder gets the same amount and its praying 2 inches before the actual injectors.

I haven't ever consider running m5 straight. I'm sure you can but the efficiency depending on your application Maybe more wasteful vs useful in the power gains. I actually run m1 from time to time as well. It usually cheaper by the gallon when buying locally vs ordering a 5 gallon can of m5.

Technically yes it won't hurt anything.

Correct Distilled would be my 1st choice then bottle drinking water would be my 2nd choice and if I really had to because say track side I would use tap water I wouldn't make a large batch but it wouldn't hurt anything you could get away with it short term Is for sure without any major problems. I will say that you can buy a basic auto system on eBay for about 50 to 80 bucks and you can make all of your own distilled water at your house. The thing about tap water is its hardness and it has a bunch of extra mineral That can cause deposits on your pump I'm sure there are people out there who have been using tap water for years lol

You can but make sure you are tuned for that much extra fuel, remember methanol kits aren't just for cooling but also fueling. If you don't have the proper tuning for pure m5 you are flirting with fire, additionally depending on your application you may not see any real gains. Finally part of the reason you mix m5 with water is gain the compression and cooling addition of the water.(yes water raises the compression... that's another rant lol) the "fuel" in water/meth injection is the meth so if you use pure m5 you are essential just adding another fuel injector of really expensive fuel. Meh it isn't that bad. I wouldn't shove my nose in and start huffing it like cherry marker lol or take a bath in it. But a clean up spill and we'll vented area you will be fine.

I actually just had meth installed on my AMG GTS and picked up a can of M5 yesterday so I was trying to find easy ways to pour it in without spilling it every damn where from this big jug and came across your video and was like .. Um haha but it makes me feel better with handling!!

Haha...that's funny. Get a race gas can 10x easier to pour the stuff in. Those amg are super cool cars. Enjoy your new power adder it will save your 🍑 in alot of case and allow for so much more power even on the hottest days.
